@josephw saidAntisemitism is Satanic. And in my opinion, so is the Vatican.
My "brand" is Bible based belief.
I'm not going to parse out for you the secular/biblical historical record of the abuse of man against his fellow man.
You wouldn't believe it anyway.
But you are correct. Martin Luther's anti-Semitic views paved the way for Hitler's Nazi regime. Antisemitism is Satanic.
And in my opinion, so is the Vatican. My faith was once rooted in Catholicism, but then I read the Bible.
And what about freemasonry?
@josephw saidWhat has all this talk about “dirt” “divide and conquer” “threaten with hell” “instilling fear” and murder in the name of god, got to do with my brother-in-law sending me a copy of the circular?
It is indeed interesting. Relevant. Contemporary.
As old as dirt. Straight from the Vatican; divide and conquer. Threaten with hell. Instilling fear. Murder in the name of God.

@divegeester saidThe Ian Paisely-type brandishing of anti-Catholic sentiments must take precedence over all else.
I may be wrong, but I suspect Josephw won’t give you an unequivocal answer to this. And I think I know why.
@divegeester saidNot sure why you feel a winky emoji was needed.
This was a UK Grand Lodge circular which was sent out to all members.
Not sure why you feel a winky emoji was needed.
Because I'm in a "winky" mood. 😉

@fmf saidFrankly, if what any man made institution asserts to be true, that which is not based on the truth, then that institution is either in error, or is an organ of that one which seeks to destroy truth.
Antisemitism is Satanic. And in my opinion, so is the Vatican.
And what about freemasonry?
@divegeester saidObviously you lost the thread.

@fmf said"While Freemasonry is not itself a religion, all its members believe in a Supreme Being, or "Grand Architect of the Universe.” Members come from many faiths, but one denomination in particular bars any crossover."
So, is freemasonry "Satanic" in your estimation?
"Freemasonry is one of the oldest fraternal organizations in the world. It unites men of good character who, though of different religious, ethnic or social backgrounds, share a belief in the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of mankind."
Doesn't sound so bad to me.
Freemasonry isn't a religion like the Catholic Church, which pretends to be Christian, but is instead a citadel of false doctrine and idol worship.
@josephw saidFreemasonry has a history of occultism, aside from nepotism and cronyism. I thought you might object. Do you think the Catholic church should allow its adherents to be freemasons.

@josephw saidWhat's this? A text where Freemasonry is promoting itself?
"While Freemasonry is not itself a religion, all its members believe in a Supreme Being, or "Grand Architect of the Universe.” Members come from many faiths, but one denomination in particular bars any crossover."
