Dive has admitted that he is a "weak Christian". But, is he doing anything to change that?
Has anyone else, at some point, thought the same about themselves? If so, what were some changes that you made?
This question ties into the statement Jesus made: "Go, and sin NO more".
Are we "weak" because we choose to ignore the religious teachings of what we are following or are we "weak" because we do not live up to what we know to be true?
In truth, we are all weak, but you must specify.

The fool looks to one-liners and asks if they are true or false rather than reading the whole story :[Psalm 151:1]
"The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; There is no one who does good. The LORD has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men To see if there are any who understand, Who seek after God.They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one.Do all the workers of wickedness not know, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call upon the Lord? There they are in great dread, For God is with the righteous generation.…"

Talking about fools, little one-liners like that is for fools. If you read a little more of the Psalms of David you will understand the whole story. The very next Psalm speaks of who will enter the Kingdom of God:
[i]LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
He that walketh uprightly,
and worketh righteousness,
and ...[text shortened]... also Gods people because they live by the law written in their hearts.. unlike some Christians.
Originally posted by KellyJayIf you are claiming that anyone ever said you "want children to die" then you are an out and out liar . You defended the right of Christians to let their children die (for want of conventional treatment) in order to please their gods and you denied the right of society (through its elected officials) to intervene to protect children from extremist parents. You obviously didn't like being called on it.
He knows why I don't, it had nothing to do with his tone.

What do you think Jesus meant by this? It has been debated here before, I realize, but it is worth asking once again. More than once, Jesus seems to be implying that to follow Him involves serious, life changing discipline.

David said the fool is the one who says IN HIS HEART there is no God.
See if you can understand this:
Atheists say WITH THEIR MOUTH [not their heart] there is no God
Christians say WITH THEIR MOUTH [not their heart] there is a God.
God pays no mind to either of those statements. God pays attention to what the person DOES because it what is in the persons heart is what determines righteousness. God is with the righteous.
Therefore the test of righteousness is how the person lives as David explains in Psalm 15.

"For each tree is known by its own fruit. Indeed, people do not gather figs from thornbushes, or grapes from brambles. The good man brings good things out of the good treasure of his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil treasure of his heart. For out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks."
