Disingenuous.
You called me a goat. Goats don't know Jesus. The implication is the same as saying I don't know Jesus. I don't care how you parse it out.
Thing is, what I said to you was, "you know the wrong Jesus" because you den ...[text shortened]... context without regards to the context from which they're derived. It is poor exegesis to do so.[/b]
Goats know of Jesus.
They just dont follow his commandments
I never said neither implied that this doctrine of
whether Jesus is God or otherwise is of any significance.
It is not significant. It is a non issue.
You can continue to make a big deal out of it Im not interested.
Your church doctrine is astray and false.
There is no indication that Jesus will cast anyone out
becuase they believe he is God or he is not God
Your church has cast aside the real issues pertaining to eternal life.
That is what you should be concerned with.
Originally posted by @suzianneIf you believe Paul was wrong in the bigoted things he preached, how would he not be false prophet in your mind vis-a-vis Matthew 7:15-20?
So now Paul is equal to God and Jesus? All because he preached some rather bigoted things that you agree with? This speaks volumes about why you raise yourself above all Christians in this forum.
Are you God too?
"You will know them by their fruits...A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit"

I no longer find any purpose in discussing anything with you.

First you were looking for an argument
There is none because the matter of Jesus being God is a nonissue.
Nowhere will you find the bible saying that it is
Next the real issue is who inherits the Kingdom of God
Who? .. the church of Christ Yes ... but its not who you think it is
The Brothers of Christ, sons of God make up the church of Christ
Brothers of Christ are all those who follow his commandments
All those how do Gods will, and Christ will judge them
The church is has some of these people
Certainly all the people in the church do not qualify
Dont kid yourself.

Is everyone who believes in Jesus Christ and His Resurrection and who has accepted Jesus Christ into his or heart saved? Yes!

Matthew 25:31-46 is not the last universal judgment.
Notice that the condemned people (goats) go away into the eternal fire "prepared for the devil and his angels". This implies that the devil and his angels have not yet been put there. It has only been "prepared" for them.
"Then He will say also to those on the left, Go away from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire PREPARED for the devil and his angels." (Matt. 25:41)
It is after the thousand years that the devil goes to his eternal punishment (Rev. 20:10). And this is after the devil is released from his thousand year confinement -
"And when the thousand years are COMPLETED, Satan will be released from his prison." (Rev. 20:7)
So Rajk999 and others are wrong to assume Matthew 25:31-46 is the final universal judgment at the great white throne in Rev. 20:11-15.
Matthew 25:31-46 - a judgment upon the living BEFORE the thousand year reign. The Devil not yet in the eternal fire "prepared" for him and his angels.
Revelation 20:11-15 - the last judgment upon all the dead AFTER the thousand year reign. The Devil now has been cast into the eternal punishment.

You believed being saved is a temporary condition. I don’t.
You would do well to follow the teachings of Christ and the Aposltes
And ignore the church.
Salvation is a process as explained by Paul:
1. Christians are saved by faith from a life of sin and death [Ephesians 2]
2. Christians must then follow after righteousness and good works [Ephesians 3, and 4]
3. Those who fail to do that will not inherit the Kingdom of God [Ephesians 5]
4. Those who succeed [Ephesians 6], are the ones who :
- are strong in the Lord
- have put on the whole armour of God
- have their loins girt about with truth
- have on the breastplate of righteousness
- take the shield of faith
- take the helmet of salvation
- have the Word of God in them
Sadly your church has stopped at #1 and proclaimed that they have eternal life in the Kingdom of God.
That is the doctrine of fools.
Read the whole thing.

I make a point.
I quote supporting scripture.
Try it.

Believe whatever you want.
What I say comes with the backing of Jesus Christ and the Aposltles.
Your doctrines are supported only by the church.
Worst of all you need to use church speak to explain it.
Phrases which are not in the bible
- the complete finished work of Christ
- earn your salvation
- eternally saved
- born again - absolute assurance
- the power of the Holy Spirit
And a whole list of other phrases which I cannot remember right now
You know the minute you start using them I shoot it down.
Then your doctrine falls like the house built on sand.
You need to revisit the teachings of Christ and the Aposltes.
I believe what they say .. not what I want
