The fiasco was the PM itself, I think. Some, like you, felt its content was OK and felt strongly that I had some kind of duty of confidentiality about her behaviour and shouldn't have shown it to friends, while others thought there was nothing wrong with me sharing it because there was no onus on me to keep such a thing secret, but the discussion about that was all a simple. lively back and forth and not a fiasco at all.

I took a rest for quite a long time. He wasn't reading what I was posting and then he'd claim that I hadn't posted stuff that was, in fact, in the posts he hadn't read (or was ignoring). I wasn't the only member of this community to comment on it. Several posters who engaged him mid-2016 stopped interacting with him altogether. Perhaps you aren't aware of what was going on? Eventually, I got fed up of typing so much stuff that he wasn't even acknowledging had been added to the conversation, so I took a rest for however long it was... a few months or weeks? I don't remember.

There once was a time on this very site when people were warned for making PMs public. Your unrepentant defense of doing so should have received the same warning, if not an expulsion. Clearly, there are, or at least were, people whose morality is questionable involved in the moderation here. Just as clearly, your decision to make it public was not nearly as successful among the forum regulars as it was among your 'friends'.

To maintain the spirit of this thread, it was 'evil' to share a PM with friends, when the sender was unaware of that action.
