You are not trying to prove anything. And you are not asking him to prove anything. And you are unable to state what you believe about the supposed inspiration of the Bible. What weird corner is this you have backed yourself into?

well that's for those that are trying to prove inspiration to attend to.

yes but being magical and outlandish does not necessitate that its uninspired, does it.
It seems far more likely to be satanic in origin than divine, but I don't buy into that either. I guess I just don't share your gullibility.

I am asking him for his opinion. This is the second or third time I have stated as much. Why must you regurgitate the same stuff over and over again?

He has already told you. His opinion is pretty much the same as mine which is that the claim the Bible is inspired is outlandish and there is no evidence aside from what the text says about itself.

Do you believe that those who have sought to prove the Bible is divinely inspired have succeeded?

again this is not a very strong argument for lack of inspiration and infact its hardly even relevant except tenuously so. If we reduce it to absurdity then we get the proposition that its uninspired because we are cynical. 😕

I haven't read their texts and can offer no comment. Kellyjay I do not read and jaywill is not a little verbose.

What is your very strongest argument for divine inspiration? If you don't want to say you believe the Bible is divinely inspired, what do you think is the very strongest argument for divine inspiration made by proponents of the idea?

I am not arguing for divine inspiration, not this time anyway. I don't want to be drawn into one either.

To lack cynicism when confronted with magical and outlandish claims seems foolish to me. If you prefer to view the world otherwise, I wish you good luck with that.

Do you believe that those beyond this forum, to whom you have talked and/or whose writings you have read, and who have sought to prove the Bible is divinely inspired, have succeeded?

Yes I must admit that I am not very cynical.

More so than those who have sought to prove claims of lack of inspiration, yes. I found your whole Revelation was written for political purposes absolutely absurd if I am brutally honest.

As I said, it's a weird corner you have painted yourself into. You aren't trying to prove anything. And you aren't asking him to prove anything. And you refuse to state what you believe about the supposed inspiration of the Bible or even what you think the best arguments are that it is.
