As we discover the true explanations and reasons for events and phenomena, our concept of God is diluted.

I hope that this will help believers to realise that what they believe in is completely redundant; an empty meaningless concept.
This is just one of many reasons why religion is dumb.
what you are saying only makes sense if you first assume God does not exist. you are saying that if God does not exist then religion is dumb. which is true. except, God does exist...

please note the captical G, makinig it a proper noun and therefore referring to the God of Abraham and Moses etc.. To the best of my knowledge Vishnu is not called "God". he may be beleived to be a god, but not God.

"The alphabet used by the Romans consisted only of capital (upper case or majuscule) letters. The lower case (minuscule) letters developed in the Middle Ages from cursive writing, first as the uncial script, and later as minuscule script. "

(Have I bagged my first straw man, or are you just wrong 🙂 )

Vishnu is God. So are you.

Vishnu is God. So are you.
what are you trying to say, that small and upper case letters do not exist when referring to gods?

Vishnu is not called God. he is called Vishnu. God is called God.

Vishnu is not called God. he is called Vishnu. God is called God.
For that matter, the Christian god is not called God, either. Someone may be able to explain in greater detail, but the xtian god is called YHVH, Yahweh, or some derivative thereof.

Vishnu most certainly is big-G God to the Hindus of the world.

well, as Yahweh is the God of gods, then i think Vishnu would be refered to as "god" in comparison...

So, you're saying your God can beat up their God?

No. ...beat up their gods

They have a god for every object and past-time. They might even have one for you!
