From my vantage point, humans are distinguished from the animal kingdom due to the fact that mankind is made in the image of God as God breathed his spirit into him/her. "Nations against nations" would be an apt description of the virtually endless and overlapping wars on continental Europe from the end of the middle ages (late 15thC) right through to a decade or so into the 19thC. What was your speciality when you did your A Level?

my speciality was consuming copious amounts of cannabis at the time, although i do
recall something about Lloyd George and the liberal government and William Booth
and the social reforms, our period was Europe after Napoleon.
