If good works and good works alone could save people and people were able to do enough of them to save themselves there would have been no need for Jesus to die on the cross. Works alone cannot save you. I don’t expect you to get this though...
Nobody is saved by good works.
The death of Christ saved everybody.
The death of Christ was necessary because of the sin of Adam.
The death of Christ SAVED THE WORLD FROM THE CONDEMNATION OF SIN
Entry into the Kingdom of God REQUIRES GOOD WORKS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS
Those who continue to sin will be cast out of the Kingdom of God
But I know you would not get that.
You are the profess my faith and then profess my own salvation, type.
Your doctrine is the road to damnation

Don't listen to the judging hater.
Go invest in a personal copy of the Bible, OT and NT. (Doesn't have to be KJV, I'd recommend NIV.)
Find a local church that believes what you believe and try to attend weekly.
It will give you a new perspective, focusing on love, and the Word, rather than judging and hate. Chances are that you will also find ways to help your community.
I have a Life Recovery Bible (NLT), which has tremendous and helpful notes on each page. I read it daily.
I have admitted in the past that I'm not terribly active in the community, nor volunteer work, which goes against the desire of Jesus, but I'm looking into it.....seriously.
I'm a work in progress...in my faith and in life itself. But doing alright. 🙂

Originally posted by @divegeesterAs you know, I've intensely searched for the identity of Jesus, which caused me frustration and doubt, and those emotions came out badly in my previous posts, but somehow I was able to hang on to that 'mustard seed' of faith long enough to accept my Christianity....which never really left.
Well good for you. Then in that case you most certainly are a Christian.
I may have felt that Jesus abandoned me somehow in my past, but I've slowly learned that it was ME causing the gap in our 'relationship'.
Thanks.

They:
- condemn all nonChristians to eternal torment
- are the only ones capable of doing good deeds
- they are the only ones that show love to others
- they arrogantly believe that they can continue on with sin and still get eternal life
Originally posted by @tom-wolseyNo. I do not claim that i have eternal life. You people do that.
Yet, you admit you are a sinner that continues to sin. Do you not understand why your message is constantly being pointed out as contradictory and confusing?
So you sin, you have eternal life already. That is contradictory.
I confess that I sin. I await the judgment of Christ... like Paul said he does as well
You guys are lucky. Im not

You say sheep aren't sinners.
You admit you're a sinner.
Therefore by your teachings, you're not a sheep.
Thus by your teachings you are a goat.
Perhaps Karoly--who understands your teachings so well and believes they aren't contradictory--can explain how a sinner is a goat--unless the sinner is Rajk99 in which case the sinner is a sheep.
