“real Christians”

Rajk999 says that real Christians follow the teachings of Christ. I’m sure they do. But not all the time because we are all flawed. Also “following the teachings of Christ” could mean many things to many people and be exhibited in many ways, such as doing good works. But the bible doesn’t say that you will know a real Christian by the good works that they do, it’s says “you will know them by their fruits” and the fruits are listed in the bible and none of them are good works.

Josephw says that real Christians believe certain things, certain doctrines and teachings, but again the bible doesn’t confirm this. The bible says “you will know them by their fruits”.

So what can we conclude from these two examples; we can conclude that neither doing good works nor believing certain things is evidence of being a “real Christian” any more than claiming to be a Christian is evidence that the person is one.

So take me for an example; Jospehw and sonship, for two, have both stated that I’m either a heretic or a nominal Christian because I don’t believe what they believe about controversial doctrines. Surely this is lazy erroneous thinking at best.

Yes? and ? A man, meaning another prophet. For all I know, the Jews are still waiting for this to happen.

A "real" Christian is one that is "born again". It's the only kind of Christian there is.

Jesus said you will know them [prophets] by their fruits, so unless you think that means apples, grapes and oranges, then it must mean the other things Jesus spoke of and that can only be good works and righteousness. This is demonstrated in the teachings of Jesus all over the Gospels and culminating in Matt 25 judgment day scenario where only those who did those good works ...[text shortened]... fruit of the Spirit'. That is how fools who do not know the bible answers questions. You asked where did Jesus say that about prophets and I provided a reference. If I were a fool like you I would have said .. try reading the book of Matthew, but Im not so I provided the reference.

The guy who ignores scriptures and thinks whole books need to be removed from the Bible is worried about having the scripture back up what one says, interesting.
