No problem.
It isn't an exact science, and like I said I already know the general strength of each team, the offseason and preseason just gives us a hint if the team gained or lost strength because in todays NFL the difference between winning the Super Bowl and winning the first pick in the draft is a lot narrower than any other sport.

Do you think they just play the preseason for nothing? They may as well just cut to 53 players after training camp and call it good, right?
If the teams are using the preseason to evaluate their rosters and trim to the final 53 needed before the start of the season then it follows that there is evaluating to be done in the preseason. Teams have weaknesses, bring in players to iron out those weaknesses, then play those players in the preseason to evaluate those players and fill the roster.
If you can't gain anything from watching a preseason game then you won't gain any advantage from watching a regular season game and are basically just picking based on reputation and media hype. However, I think you are just being thick on purpose and actually do learn from the preseason.

Depending on the Giants game I will have 5 or 6 points.
It will suck for whoever has their 10 teams play each other the most. Example broncos colts is 1 point not 2.
Are draws a 1/2 point they should be so that we could possibly have no ties maybe at the end of a season!

"2014 NFL Season Big Pond Pub" Thread 131880
Welcome to the 2014 NFL Season. This thread resumes the many enjoyable conversations between NFL Fans who reside on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Its parent thread, "2010 NFL Season 'Big Pond Pub'", was originally posted 05 Jul '10. Our competition invites your top ten weighted picks of NFC and AFC Contenders to win the 2014 Super Bowl Lombardi Trophy.
Weighted Picks Format: Please rank your personal favorite five NFC and five AFC NFL Teams from a high of five (5) points to a low of one (1) point as your contenders: a) To win the most games during the Regular Season's sixteen game team schedules; b) To qualify for the eleven game Post Season; and c) To be invited to play in and win the 2014 NFL Super Bowl.
Weighted Picks Earned Points Opportunity Profile: Each of your Regular Season team win earns one point. Each Post Season qualifying team earns two points. Each Post Season team win earns the weighted points (5 to 1) you've assigned. Super Bowl Team Qualifiers win double your weighted points. Super Bowl Winner earns triple the points you've assigned.
Admin Housekeeping: 1) I'll post weekly schedules as well as game results on a timely basis; 2) Will each of you please post your actual earned and cumulative total points each week; 3) I'll also consolidate and update individual point standings.
Two Requests: Please post your ten picks before the season begins on Thursday, September 4, 2014. Also, I'd appreciate you initiative in informing site friends who may be interested in our 2014 NFL Bragging Rights Competition. Thank you.
Quote of the Day: "What this trophy stands for is the team. This is what it symbolizes. Not the guy who leads the league in punting, not the guy who’s got 15 sacks, not the guy who’s got 1,200 yards rushing. This represents the team. That’s the toughest, smartest, most confident team… in the end, the reason why you won is because you identified the situation, you heard the call, and you did your job. And that’s what execution is about. This game is about execution." -Bill Belichick
