How the points are allocated is a different issue.

So each "game" is 1-0 or 0-0
That's not how the football league(or any other league) works

Once site dealt with the cheats, the remaining minor issues melted away.

Couldn't be bothered.
Scoring system is arbitrary by design by site administration.

If the clan members oppose it enough, site will consider amending it.
If not, we have what we have.

The cheats have been dealt with.
Clan feature is back to normal with the occasional whine.

If you cannot back up a theory with a solid answer it proves that the theory ( in this case the clan scoring system ) is rubbish
