@sonhouse saidApparently you ignore the facts that I showed you, that landings by USAF crafts had been going on there years before Trump took office, as well as the fact that a contract with that airport for continued use by the Airforce was renewed under the Obama Administration.
@Soothfast
There is still the issue of standing military regs in ALL branches of US military to refuel at military bases BECAUSE taxpayers like you and me benefit from those planes refueling at a lower cost and there in fact has been found by the Scots government a business arrangement by Trump that the refueling there has resulted in 11 MILLION in refueling cost going dire ...[text shortened]... mp,
That is not the only instance of planes landing just oh so coincidentally at Trump businesses.
The fact that $11 million as made buy the airport for fuel is a complete misnomer. Of course they took that much in, and paid a lot of it out to purchase more fuel,. Why do you portray this normal business transaction as something "devious" and corrupt?
Oh, and Airforce personnel spent the night at Trump's Resort - this is somehow a crime?? Are you saying these airmen need *your* permission to stay there?? WTF
sonhouse, you are so sick with hate you twist *everything* you can into Trump corruption. So far, I see business as usual here. Nothing more, nothing less.
Let me know when you have a link that shows Trump *ordering* the military to use his resort when doing an overnight.
Thank you for your cooperation.
@no1marauder saidMcConnel is doing what is constitutionally allowed. Elections have consequences.
There's only one to know if a bill will pass or not; by letting the Senate vote. That's what the Constitution specifies not that one political hack block any vote he feels like.
@earl-of-trumps saidUS troops should not be quartered at taxpayer expense in a location owned by the President.

Second, it is not the military's responsibility to keep the Grand Grifter from grifting. Active military officials cannot even openly criticize a President who makes stultifyingly imbecilic or mendacious military decisions, such as sending thousands of troops to the US-Mexican border on the eve of an election as part of a trumped-up political stunt. The Obama administration set up the arrangement to which you refer, and it is up to the current Commander-in-Chief to alter the arrangement if it now runs afoul of the Constitution's emoluments clause.
EDIT: I assume you understand that there was no conflict of interest present when the Obama administration set up the current arrangement back before the Electoral College put the Mango Messiah in the White House?
@Soothfast
Your post is mostly off topic, save this "Second, it is not the military's responsibility to keep the Grand Grifter from grifting."
As it is with sonhouse, SHOW ME grifting. Show me how Trump set this all up so HE can prosper. Your lips are moving, soothfast, but you have no substance.
I am not saying there is nothing to this story (though, I think that's the case) what I am saying is nobody in this thread - sonhouse especially, has shown anything that implies Trump involvement with the situation.
Sonhouse and you make all the allegations and have absolutely *nothing* to show that Trump had any involvement with the military landing at that specific airport. You can't because it was not his arrangement. And also, you have nothing to show me that Trump had anything to do with US airmen doing overnights in Trump's resort.
And until you do, I know that all you are doing is blowing smoke. It's another case of nothingburger blown out of proportion so that major TDS sufferers can shake their hate fist at Trump.
Have a nice day.
@earl-of-trumps saidI forgot; who is "Commander in Chief" of the United States armed forces?

I told others in here, show me where Trump ordered the military to have their personnel do overnights at a Trump resort.
Show it to me and dispense with the froofroo nonsense.
@earl-of-trumps said"Nonsense"? Are you denying that the Conmander in Chief of the Armed Forces is ultimately responsible?

Are you denying it is improper for US troops to be billeted at taxpayer expense on Trump's properties while he is President?
Further investigation is obviously called for, but the practice should be terminated immediately. Trump's failure to do so after it became public makes his denials of prior knowledge suspect; this is the same man who "suggested" to the VP that he stay at a Trump facility 180 miles away from his official business.
@Earl-of-Trumps
Trump still owned that golf course back then too, could have been getting money that way for years before he was POTUS. President Chump that is.
@no1marauder saidYes, nonsense, you hold the position that because Trump is POTUS that he orders the rank and file where to sleep on overnights. BULL CHIPS. That is total nonsense. No POTUS is responsible for military policy on such mundane matters.

The fact that you continue to harp this issue after haven been told repeatedly that Obama was on board when the last contract with that Scottish airport was signed shows your complete ignorance and deceit. It is not Trump's fault and that contract must be honored. Blame your lover boy.
And I am absolutely telling you it is OK for US troops to continue on as usual and stay at Trumps' hotel, yes.
I do not foresee the military trying to end the contract just because some haters with TDS complain about it.

President Bill Clinton rapes three women, sexually assaults two others, has cigar sex with a young white house intern in the oval office while his wife and child are asleep right down the hall.
Talk to me about democrat *ethics and morality*.
Talk to me about how the bleeping low life dems of America came within a whisker of bringing serial rapist Bill Clinton back into the white house, along with his criminal "wife".
Yes, yes, the high hat Dems. So moral, so ethically pure.

That you can't see how ethically improper it is for the President of the United States to enrich himself at the taxpayer's expense by having public officials, members of the military and others who are his subordinates stay at his properties makes you a very poor judge of anyone's morals.
