@averagejoe1 saidExactly.
That is, whether he is going to pack the court. Your candidate said that. We don't 'deserve' to know what his plans are. A car salesman says..'Sign here, commit to buying the car, and then I will tell you how much it will cost"
I am just the messenger. This is a fact. No need to respond. After all, Eisenhower did not respond to the messenger who told him that ...[text shortened]... ve him a message about impending devastation, which is all that I, as a messenger, am doing for you.
All the libs, screaming and hollering that Trump should show his tax returns.
Meanwhile, they will also tell you that Joltin' Joe does NOT have to tell us how he
intends to run the fookin' country.
Same old, same old. It gets trite, does it not?
@no1marauder saidOn your two points,
The President can't "pack the Court" anyway. Adjusting the size of the SCOTUS would require Congressional action so it is more appropriate to ask candidates for those offices their views on the matter.
Republicans have been "packing" the courts all through the Trump administration though. No outcry from "independent Republicans" about that.
1. You know damn right well the democrat congress WILL pack the court, not the prez, so your point is moot.
2. Republicans packing the court?? hahahah what a joke. I am a Libertarian, not a
Republican. And I can tell you, all they are doing is replacing judges, not ADDING them. You know this, too.
For the past 50 years the SJC has leaned left. not ONCE was there ever any serious
conversation by Republicans to expand the SJC. And the only time that the issue
was ever raised was by FDR. His fellow democrats did not support him.
If the congress passes such a bill, do you see Biden Vetoing it? Because I sure don't
@dood111 saidCorrect. His fellow dems *in those days* were quite about fair play, honesty and the such.
No Republican president has ever wanted to add more Supreme Court Justices.
Prior to Biden, only one other democrat, Franklin Roosevelt advocated doing it, and he got gob-smacked for it.
America is a more morally corrupted nation now, sad to say.

@earl-of-trumps saidWhy?
America is a more morally corrupted nation now, sad to say.
Trump
Why?
Because Americans voted Trump
@neilarini saidThe biggest crime in the history of our nation is the so-called Russia Hoax, the plot to tie Trump to Russia to actually KICK him out of office. There was nothing but a debatable phone call that showed up about 3 years after the coup d'tat was begun...not even related.
Why?
Trump
Why?
Because Americans voted Trump
So, as you accuse Trump above, why do you, like all liberals here, avoid the obvious with your lame smoke screens? That, it was the holdovers from Obama administration, blah blah who did this. Spied on his campaign, administration, etc. They lost. He is innocent, although dems in congress just couldn't resist trying to save face with the impeachment. They lost.
So please let us know what you mean, write us a letter, but BEFORE you do that, could you comment on the failed Russia Hoax? Who did it, why, and , oh yeah, that Trump carried on and accomplished untold successes while you were on his ass. No lib on this forum has ever commented on that. They just say they hate him. Boring indeed.
@averagejoe1 saidAveragejoeis taking yet another quote out of context. Biden was talking about Trump making the debate about SCOTUS as as a distraction:

KTNV reporter Ross DiMattei said court-packing is the “number one thing I’ve been asked about from viewers in the past couple days,” to which Biden responded “well, you’ve been asked by the viewers, who are probably Republicans, who don’t want me continuing to talk about what they’re doing to the court right now.”
“Well sir, don’t the voters deserve to know-” DiMattei began to ask, as Biden interjected “no they don’t deserve,” before asserting “I’m not gonna play [Trump’s] game… he’d love that to be the discussion instead of what he’s doing now.
Clearly, Biden was saying voters "don't deserve" Trump playing games.
This is why averagejoe doesn't post links: so he can falsely quote people. He continually takes quotes out of context and cries when asked to back up his claims, because he knows he's wrong.
@vivify saidI haven't seen Average Joe ever do it.
You don't agree that consistantly taking quotes out of context is dishonest?
Oh wait, I forgot you support a proven liar for president.
Give an example.
I've seen Joe and Kamala do it plenty of times, and more than just out of context, they just outright lie.
A lot.

@vivify saidClearly my ass. Consider your link as being posted by me, and to me, it says what it says. And how naive you are to say that Trump, who's most important achievement has been the two new judges, and hundreds of others. considers this SCOTUS business as a distraction. Here is a word for you....business. Trump is a business man. He has never been a politician, so he is probably not too keen on creating distractions. Ridiculous.

While I have your attention, maybe you can be the Forum hero and tell us why Biden does not tell us if he is going to pack the supreme court. Do we not deserve to know what the car is going to cost before we sign on the dotted line? Can you tell us why????
What would you fellers be saying if Trump would not tell us his plans? Do you know that Basement Biden has only answered about 100 questions .....Trump answers about 40 every time he walks out to the helicopter, and then more after he lands. You know what you get (forget personality, like the smelly doctor who is a genius) ...you know what you get with Trump. I was going to vote for Biden but he will not tell us his plan. Well, he did say he wants to get rid of fossil fuels (I don't mind, I can pay $6/gallon), and cancel the Trump tax, which means you will lose the money that it's been saving you. Is there a trade-off that we don't know about, or you traveling only on hate?

in a prepared speech, Trump assured voters that if they elect him, ISIS “will be gone very, very quickly.” How? That’s a secret. “I won’t tell them where,” Trump said of ISIS, “and I won’t tell them how.”
