Really, what is your deal with disparities in income and wealth? What do you think can fix that , realistically? This is a huge country, some quite poor through no fault of the their own, and some quite wealthy, through no industrious-ness (is that a word) of their own, they inherit or whatever. You gonna change the country to clean up those 2 ends of the spectrum???

I tend to think "the left" absolutely hates math. For example, in very watered down and simple terms, Biden's policies are actually rewarding people to stay home from work and draw $600 per week. This money comes from taxPAYERS.

The left consistently supports "raising corporate taxes" and claims "lowering corporate taxes only benefits rich people."

No. False. Liars. BS. ...[text shortened]... eck--well, we are branded "the enemy." It's just pure survival from now on. So yeah, expect a fight.
Your opinions seem rosy and neatly tied in a bow. And I agree with your positions o the benefits of limited government and individual responsibility. But.... are those values better for the economy? What actually happens though, under leadership from "the left" vs. "the right"?

- Historically, the United States economy has performed better on average under the administration of Democratic presidents than Republican presidents since World War II. This is true using almost any measure - growth, jobs, stocks, income.

- The unemployment rate has fallen on average under Democratic presidents, while it has risen on average under Republican presidents.

- Almost all of the economic gains during the Trump presidency were due to massive increases in government spending, not private sector growth.

Look at what Republicans do when the actually have power as opposed to what they claim to support when they don't. I don't know enough about economics to point to a specific policy position, but the economic numbers (statistically) support "the left" in a number of key areas you discuss here.

Sure why not? Make inheritances taxed as regular income as well as capital gains and dividends.

Raise the minimum wage, invest in higher education, make sure everyone has access to quality health care, etc. etc. etc.

Your Marxism is showing. I picked up on it with something you wrote about a year ago. I need no more proof.
No worry my late brother was a Marxist and once said that Obama was a conservative. A colorful character to say the least. Luckily he never harmed anybody that I know of. He did subscribe to your theory of taking money from those who’d worked for it, or had inherited from their fathers who’d worked for it, so as to provide for their families’ futures, which you refer to in your first paragraph above. I dont think he was ever arrested though, for taking someone else’s stuff.

To Marauder...I thought my rabbit analogy was one of my best (over on Bidenflaton thread). What did you think of it, never heard back from you on that one.
Yessir, one of my best.

Do you even read other people's posts?

I answered your idiotic analogy in my post right after it.

China might learn a few things from the USA, as our country's poorest are better off than many europeans in similar circumstances. I dont pretend to know all the details, as I sit and shudder at the waste of our entitlement programs, money-wise. I sure hope we dont run out of money, which can happen in many ways, the most recent being inflation .
Your opening comment about Marx, I dont quite get. Are you saying his philosophy is outdated now? Some people, like that horrible founder of BLM, claim to be Marxist? Is it, or ain't it?

Edit: China could learn a LOT from the USA, human rights, getting 3 'square meals' in prison every day., etc Something tells me that their prisoners live in mortal hell.

That's interesting about the DPRK. But its economic policy sure sounds Marxist:

"North Korea has a command (centralized) economy. The state controls all means of production, and the government sets priorities and emphases in economic development. Since 1954, economic policy has been promulgated through a series of national economic plans. "

Again, you obviously don't know what Marxism is.

Right wingers like yourself have pretty much claimed every reform to the US system from Social Security to Medicare were "Marxist" plots that would lead us to totalitarian dictatorship, so your type of ignorance is well established.

Yes, I did see that you did, but I was asking abovewhat you thought about it, as an analogy. Like, grade it like I am in analogy class. OF COURSE I am aware you did not agree with my point, didn't expect you to.

Synopsis: A guy shoots 6 rabbits. Tax man comes and takes one of the rabbits, for contributing to society, The guy is left with 5 rabbits that he can eat or sell on the street, and keep (Ah-HA!!!!!) keep the money! I would assume you would not be too keen on the guy keeping the rabbits to himself.....or the money.
But I just wanted to know if you thought it was a cool analogy, marxism notwithstanding.

Nay, MISSING balls. As if HAVING balls would make them into real humans instead of the Trump cultists they really are.
Their collective balls and overy's have turned orange and then green and have already started rotting inside.

You realize what this is? For the US anyway, the last mewling cry of the end of whitey power in the US and they are in what they think is the fight of their lives and that is true, I will never mourn the loss of whitey power in the US. The problem is will the Trumpet cultist stoop to actually destroying the US as a democracy and instead falling into the mud of banana republicanism with the emphasis on US gonadless Trump cultists.
