Not nationalised AJ, city or district owned and able to respond to local housing needs with profits plowed back into local housing and infrastructure both of which are a boon to local commercial ventures.

In free countries with free market principles and government control, the
apartment buildings would never be allowed by the government to be in such
conditions. The landlord would be forced to spend HIS money to make needed
repairs.
But in Cuba, since the landlord IS the government, who is left to tell the
government to make the apartments LIVEBALE? nobody - shy of a revolution.
The government that promises to help the poor, the elderly, blah blah blah,
are the very ones that SCREW the people to the wall. $25 a MONTH average
Salary? What is RIGHT about communism, can you tell me?? All of this run by
$$Billionaires that have a monopoly on everything.
Fee market is SOOOO superior to government controlled and owned housing

Joe, long ago, said vehemently that he will eliminate the tax cuts Trump put in place.
He watched the markets climb big time after Trump's tax cuts so if he thinks
reinstating them is the answer then he clearly has no clue about the markets.

everything, WHO governs them.
When a citizen with a vested interest in a property is actually in charge, things
will be done much better. Take away that vested interest and, well - you have Havana Cuba.
We're all the same, if there is something in it for us we'll do it (like going to work)
But if there is nothing in it for us, don't expect "kind words" to get the job done.
