@mott-the-hoople saidOf course it is, you idiot. It's a crime anywhere in the US (and possibly overseas as well if there are sufficient connections to the US) to violate Federal election laws.
it is not a crime in NY to violate federal election laws

Cohen committed his Federal election law crime in NY.

@averagejoe1 saidWhen Trump's lawyers move to dismiss the indictment for facial insufficiency who do you think will be right: McCarthy or me?

@no1marauder saidyou prove our point that bragg didnt list the crime he is charging Trump with…keep it up
State tax fraud will fit quite well as a predicate crime also. I'd be surprised if Bragg doesn't use that as well.
@mott-the-hoople saidYes he did.
you prove our point that bragg didnt list the crime he is charging Trump with…keep it up

Mott: it is not a crime in NY to violate federal election laws.
Yes it is a crime in NY to violate Federal election laws.
So you're pathetically wrong.

@no1marauder saidwho would be the official to prosecute such crime?

@mott-the-hoople saidDoes the statute say a crime which can be prosecuted by NYS officials or just "another crime"?
who would be the official to prosecute such crime?
I can quote it again if that helps.

@no1marauder saidWhat crime? There may be one, I dont know, but if Bragg cant find one in his quicksand, please draft a reasonable response, please , and no links if you dont mind.
Bragg has jurisdiction over the falsification of records in NY. By the clear wording of the statute, another crime is all that is required to rise it from a misdemeanor to a felony.
@averagejoe1 saidJoe, you're stoned again. Come back when you're clean.

@mott-the-hoople saidThen why doesn't he get on with this slam dunk, so he can better spend his time bothering successful people in the name of Marx?
you prove our point that bragg didnt list the crime he is charging Trump with…keep it up

@no1marauder saidSorry, this is the 'slam dunk' that for some reason. he isn't using. How long has this been going on, about 3 months ? Jesus

@no1marauder saidanswer my question, who in NY would prosecute federal crimes?

By your logic a crime committed in another country would count also. face it, you are looking like an idiot.
