That's a difference of many thousands of people who died in red states because of lax COVID guidelines and flippant politicians. All for what? A brief 0.2% higher economic output.

Masks work given some very specific conditions relating to handling and standards. It needs to be fit tested for leaks around the edge everytime. You cannot play with it, lifting it up and down, handling it, putting it in your pocket, throwing it on the table in the cafe. You must not have facial hair (not only vivify but suzi too take note) NZ tax payer pays for the fancy N95 masks for the police but has no policy for police to be clean shaven rendering something that could almost be useful to a ridiculous pointless virtue signal, it's all theatre.
