Did you know only 18% of Americans own a passport? Way to discover a different point of view!!

Did you know 99% of Americans didn't know Holland is not a country or where the hell it is.

These kind of statistics aren't a problem in themselves as people can live how they wish but when these same people make sweeping statements about foreign lands, the statistics kind of make them look silly.

Americans. Perhaps it is just the people with the most hate that are the loudest, but every other thread feels like it is against Americans.

...although I have serious doubts about that 99% not knowing where Holland was. I've seen "studies" like that done on the Jay Leno show 🙂

Yes I own a passport and would love to visit Holland. I could probably point it out on a map too, hehe.

Actually the Holland thing isn't really fair because I imagine 99% of Europeans don't know that Holland isn't a country either (excluding the Dutch of course) though a higher proportion could tell you were Amsterdam is 'cause it's such a trippy place to hang out.

Holland is actually a region of the Netherlands and the Dutch get very upset when people don't know this 🙂

I'm quite positive his brain is larger than mine. It just seems a pity he uses 23% less of it though.

As for why you didn't get a PM explaining the ban - you've shown clearly in your posts that you know why you were banned. Your only complaint is that the other user wasn't banned, which I have now explained. When the cause is obvious I'm not going to spend my time explaining it to you again.

Anyway, this thread is quite entertaining. Of the two posters that have a grievance one is accusing me of being pro-Bush and the other is accusing me of being anti-American. Neutrality proven then? It's funny how neither poster thinks to blame themselves, isn't it?

I wished all moderators would give a warning before banning people, and give an explanation in cases in which the reason isn't obvious.

Which makes me wonder - don't you have some kind of protocol you have to follow if you are a moderator? It seems that different moderators handle things completely differently.
