@joe-shmo
If Cuomo is guilty he should retire but your argument about deaths in nursing homes is a dodge.
You would NEVER go from that concept to the FACT that your god king Trump TOTALLY ignored the pandemic from day ONE. "The pandemic will soon be over, will be gone by memorial day"
You would NEVER EVER admit Trump screwed up BIG TIME by downplaying the pandemic.
You know he was told in JANUARY of 2020 covid was deadly but went with downplay, soon be over. Ingest BLEACH or lysol, THAT will kill it for sure.
How can you in good faith ignore all of that and the rest of the Trump corruption?
Or did you think he was railroaded in his first impeachment and Col Vidman was a TRAITOR? That it was just fine he tried to pressure the Ukraine POTUS into just ANNOUNCING an investigation into the Biden's, he didn't even care if there was no actual investigation, Trump wanted the OPTICS of it so he could use that to sow further doubt in our election system.
Why is it the elections have gone close to fraud free for the past 200 years but now that Trump just SAYS there was fraud, his 70 million cult followers just ASSUME Trump told the truth BECAUSE they are in an actual personality cult and there is no other way of calling that.
Why do you ignore THAT? Oh wait. I forgot. Trump is an alleged Republican so you are legally restrained from EVER attacking your god king and you can ONLY attack democrats.
That said, Cuomo needs to retire and I am sure there will be no ramifications of your nursing home charges. Which is EXACTLY what is happening to Trump even though he is LITERALLY responsible for probably HALF the deaths now coming close to the deaths in the US one hundred years ago, now over 600,000 dead.
Answer me this truthfully: Why do you think Trump has ZERO culpability in his response (LACK of response) to the pandemic?
@mott-the-hoople saidI suppose you're insane enough to believe that.
“ The purpose was to make room in the hospitals”
There was plenty of empty hospital beds.
See link in post above this one.
It was a callous political stunt to make Trump look bad and cause as much fear and damage as possible. The democrats are complicit with china on deliberately spreading the virus.
@joe-shmo saidThis might shock someone with your extremely superficial knowledge of politics, but Andrew Cuomo has never been particularly popular among progressives. Personally I've never voted for him in a primary or election.
@no1marauder
I've noticed you haven't said whether or not your standing by your man?
But more to the point, even if Cuomo's policy positions closely matched my own, I'd still support his impeachment after the James report.
@mott-the-hoople saidLast March, models like the IHME were predicting we'd need 2-4 times the number of hospital beds that we had.

Thankfully, that didn't turn out to be the case; we actually needed something like the number that we had.
But there was logic to the idea of trying to open as many beds as possible.
@sh76 saidwhat are you talking about? does this bring back to life the people killed because of re-entry to a population vulnerable to the c virus

I'll take that as a compliment, because politics is a farking joke. It not worth wasting any serious effort on.
@joe-shmo saidIt's already being established that Cuomo won't be surrounded by sychophants like Trump was.
I think he will be impeached. But I'm not sure given the political climate these days, he might get away with it.
So it's safe to say there won't be a sham acquittal like the 2 we saw in the Senate impeachment hearings that gave Trump a pass.
@joe-shmo saidPerhaps if you had slightly better grasp of the subject, you wouldn't so gullibly swallow the ridiculous conspiracy theory you and Mott have endorsed in this thread.This might shock someone with your extremely superficial knowledge of politics

@no1marauder saidI, too, support the impeachment if he doesn't resign, which I doubt he'll do. I thought he did an exemplary job with the coronavirus management for NY, far more so than the ex-president. But after the James report, the handwriting is on the wall, and I don't expect him to win another election, much less survive an impeachment. At least he'll be removed as soon as the impeachment is filed, so the 11 women won't have to wait for justice.
