Death penalty for illegal migrants …?

I’ve just read that Donald Trump has called for/announced that any illegal migrant who murders an American citizen should receive the death penalty.

Well, at least you're consistent. Does Trump support execution for all murderers, or is this another dodge, like abortion: 'pass it on to the states' ? His call for illegal migrants to be treated differently reeks of invidious discrimination.

If a person kills someone, tell us, everyone, why he should not be killed. It is actually common sense as I see it. Especially if my daughter was murdered. I just do not get the non-answers on this subject.
I asked one of us, if a guy has his wife and 4 kids in a remote lake house and murders ...[text shortened]... this one, while we wait a few days for Sonhouse to collect some of his thoughts about the election.

I would. But I wouldn’t want the government having that power. So, even though I wpuld want that murderer dead, the government cannot do that.
And in reality there is never 100% proof.

However, this discussion isn’t actually about a death penalty. It’s about one set of punishment for citizens and a seperate set of punishment for immigrants.

What do you think about that?

For murder, the strongest reason is simply that he might not have done it.

Better is life in prison without contact with the outside world or with any printed/video material after the date of the murder. The perp is 'dead' to the world - no one ever hears from them, and they never hear anything 'new.'

Just.like.their.victim. Except... reversible if he is later foun ...[text shortened]... innocent.

And that goes for an American citizen killing an asylum seeker, too. Murder is murder.

You 2ndpara is wrong. A citizen may commit a crime here. A person in Mexico breaks a law by coming here and then breaks other laws while here.

So at end of day, citizen is sentenced for his one crime, and illegal alien is sentenced for crossing the border, and for other crimes.

How is does each lawbreaker have sentencing/punishment different from each other?l You won’t answer.

I don’t understand the morality of the position you are taking here; if there is a chance that the perp may not have done it then surely the type of prison experience you are suggesting here is tantamount to torturing someone who is being kept alive because they might be innocent. I'm talking about justice. If you take away someone's life, why should you go on talking to your family and loved ones? Why should you hear 'the news' as the world continues on? Your victim cannot.

So, you suffer the same fate as your victim. It's fair.

EDIT: There is always a chance "the ...[text shortened]... ightly horrifying. Moral creatures would never allow that possibility, so we take that of the table.
