That means that say you murder someone as a local, you get one hand lobbed off. If you’re an immigrant you get two hands lobbed off.

Ny question to you was: do you think that’s a good idea? Do you think two groups of people in a society should be punished differently?

a "Dodge Tactic", do you mean like the one trump used to keep delaying his conviction charges to see if he would become the President then not be liable as they can not Prosecute a President? Now they will put in a protest saying they cannot Prosecute an Elected President in waiting.... Great "Dodge Tactic" , I would say he doesn't do any Jail time for his convictions.

Shav made his question understandable. I certainly appreciate that. It saved a lot of typing. But it does not complete his question, because he is telling all of us that immigrants are not punished as much as are the illegal immigrants. We can only surmise that he is saying that an illegal immigrant receives harsher penalties, punishment or fines than does someone who is not an illegal.
He is like Sonhouse, dammit. Just throw something out there and we have to type back-and-forth about this opinion.

I promise that I mean this with all honesty and not being cute. I will answer your question, which has such an obvious answer, that I thought you were looking for something else. The obvious answer which everyone would agree with is that everyone should be punished the same for any crimes committed based on what the code of law says the punishment would be for that crime. So that is so simple that I didn’t think I needed to relate to their sex, gender, creed, religion, or upbringing.
So of course, my answer is that they should not be treated differently. I still am amazed that someone would ask that question.
