the people promoting dei are racist, sexist and mentally unstable

fixed it for you
exactly. I've been saying for a long time now that liberals are the biggest racists in America, and this is one example.

What does DEI exactly do...? It classifies people by race, gender, sex, etc.
Yes, it takes a racist mind to think it up, as well as to approve of it.

That's you, liberals.

DEI/Woke "Cancel Culture" has become tyrannical and needs to be seen for what it is:

You just can’t handle the truth.
If it is so good, why is being 'gotten rid' of? Why would someone like deSantis find fault with it? Could you, instead of raving on like a Sonhouse screed, rationally be devil's advocate and give us deSantis' argument? Thanks.

I’m pretty sure, here in the Netherlands, nobody needs to fear for their lives if they’re pulled over by the cops.
I have seen videos of them being pulled over. They start screaming at the cops instead of following directions of cops. "I didn't do nuthin"..They are almost always at fault, whose car is this, whatever, just borrowed it, always wearing a white sleeveless T-shirt, the works. So, they build up the screaming, have to get out of car, and at that point chance just about anything that they seem to be asking for.
If a cop pulls me over, I do what they say, and wrap it up so that I can get to my bowling night.
Yeah, thinks are different here. You should watch a few clips. Notice the white sleeveless T shirts. Maybe the cops should be fearing them, little feller. And they always have drugs, they always have some weapon in the car. "It's my brother's'.

They don't need to fear for their lives in the US either if they just follow instructions and don't attack the cops.

The interesting thing about DEI is that the people vocally opposing it are generally sexist, racist and anti-trans (read: alt-right snowflakes). So, it’s very hard to judge their arguments on the issue.

My biggest problem with it is the white male privilage part of it. I’m pretty sure white privilage is a thing in certain areas of society, but if your parents weren’t uni ...[text shortened]... u can’t have blind people driving busses.
So there has to be some boundary of rationality as well.
There was a huge push to get DEI training, hire DEI, and big dollar investments in new divisions focused on dei in companies, and there was no benefit. That's why colleges are getting rid of the programs.

Yes, you've been saying such idiocy for a long time based on your either being A) Too stupid to know what the word "racist" means; and/or B) Being so dishonest you simply parrot whatever Breitbart propaganda you read.

More BS. DEI programs are effective and what is happening in Florida is because of interference by politicians, not because of any lack in the programs. See https://www.forbes.com/sites/forbeshumanresourcescouncil/2021/05/19/15-key-benefits-of-dei-to-communicate-with-team-members/?sh=210591b8195c

Racist - Someone who believes in the innate superiority or inferiority of one "race" over another.

That's not a "liberal" belief.

I'd want anyone trying to get an education that might lead to any profession to be evaluated fairly and in the US that would mean taking account the disadvantages individuals of certain "races" have to overcome.

I would also consider the evidence that those who are educated in a diverse rich environment are, on average, better qualified than those who aren't. https://www.euruni.edu/blog/diversity-in-education/

University of Florida eliminates DEI office to comply with state regulations
[...]
[i]In January, Florida’s Board of Governors voted to ban state spending on all diversity, equity and inclusion programs, in an effort to comply with legislation Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed in May 2023 that defunded DEI programs at state universities and colleges.

It couldn't happen to a better bunch of people! Hee-haaaaaaaaaa!

It is unfortunate that the University of Florida has to deprive its students of educational benefits based on the ideological preferences of ignorant fanatics.

It is unfortunate that the University of Florida has to deprive its students of educational benefits based on the ideological preferences of being impartial to race.

They aren't being "impartial" by ignoring the real effects of systemic racism on individuals of certain "races" in the United States; they are being forced to cater to those who favor the results of that racism.
