@spruce112358 saidOf course trump never discusses this "plan" in detail, but in serious policy discussions his surrogates have said that reasonably they can deport 1 million per year, which isnt far from current numbers.
Donald Trump has promised to deport millions - let's say 20 million people - from the US for being here illegally.
His term runs for 4 years x 365 days x 5/7 -40 holidays over 4 years (gov't workers don't work weekends and holidays). Call it 1000 days.
So he needs to work at 20M/1000 = 20,000 deportations per day from the moment he takes office.
Currently we ave ...[text shortened]... g your house.
Question: You voted for this. Is that REALLY where you want your tax dollars to go?
Trump supporters have filled in the gaps with their ideas about using drones and the military to speed things up, but these aren't real plans and aren't feasible.
The stock market knows these "plans" aren't going to happen.

@wildgrass saidGreat! And I heard that only 16 children were run over by cars this year, there were 43 last year!!!! Looks great!!!!
If you read the OP, we're already deporting almost 5000 people per day.
@AverageJoe1 saidThe point was that trump isn't "starting" any process. It's been going on. People aren't voluntarily leaving.

I predict that posts will start bitching about the stock market as it soars. Catch the train, you fools.
@wildgrass saidThe campaign promise to deport millions of people is comparable to the previous campaign promise to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it. No one really expects him to keep it, and he'll find someone else to blame when he doesn't.

She had NO concrete plan. How about "I will go after price gouging!!" That one almost got my maid. I gave her a small talk, and she is fine. I actually made her see that if her son, who is looking for a house, got the $25k free money, that he would lose in the long run, together with all of his contemoporaries.

@AverageJoe1 saidSure thing Joe but keep an eye on who is picking our strawberries in 4 years time.

@wildgrass saidIs that you sonhouse? There will always be immigrants, they will be whatever we want them to be, they will thank us for the opportunity for a great life, they will get their own trucks, hire their friends, start the Julio Strawberry Picking Company, and build from there.

Are you so daft, Sonhouse??
@moonbus saidLoser post. Had there not been covid, he would have remained, and we can just all have our opinions about the wall. I am quite sure it would be complete by now. Check with Sonhouse, he is in car #4 of the loser train, he is sure that it would NOT have been builit. Check with McHill, he says no way Mex would have paid for it. Really? How does he know that?

@shavixmir saidI am pro deportations of immigrants who are criminals, or who do not fit into your culture to the extent that they would like to change it by force. I have no idea what you mean by 'ethnic cleansing', as that expression is misused by supporters of terrorism.
Oh, Rajk is very much pro deportations and ethnic cleansing. He knows how to do this stuff.
