That is for business to decide, not government. The GOP is promoting intrusive controls over private business and individual citizens.

Yes that's obviously true. But your thread was about the importance of diversity, so my question was asking whether there is evidence that the training achieves that desired outcome.

There is little evidence that diversity training changes the hearts and minds of employees. You cannot legislate racism away. However, you can establish and enforce laws that prevent the use of race, gender identity, ethnicity, religion, etc. from limiting t access to education, jobs, property, etc.
In states with GOP dominated legislatures, public colleges and universities are being told they cannot teach courses devoted to black history, women, or other specific groups who are part of our diverse culture and history. The idea of diversity is considered anti American and "woke" by some conservatives.

In the last 30 yrs or so there has been a dramatic rise in single parent families. Would kids growing up without a father in the home be a good form of diversity?

I will answer. The answer is 'NO'. None of those things lead to strength in nature and in human society. They rather will lead to the demise of the species.

I disagree with you. The rise in single parent families, especially among certain minority groups, is not due to a lack of religious faith. Also, there are many different types of family structures. In the U.S. the tiny nuclear family frequently does not offer the kind of support families often need. In other cultures an extended family is far more supportive. The U.S. has the highest incarceration rate of any industrialized country. Black men are especially vulnerable to being imprisoned. There are complex economic, historical and political issues at work. As for the groups you spurn, I do not. Please leave people alone to deal with their gender identity issues, their own bodies, their choice to be religious or not and worship as they please. I assure you that non heterosexual people are not trying to change children's sexual identity. Books are not changing your child's sexual identity nor do men in drag damage your children. Of course nothing I write nor science will convince you otherwise. So sad. So pathetic.

Next the perverts are trying to change the kids, and indoctrinate people into their lifestyle. The evidence is overwhelming... in the public, in schools, in sports in all facets of life. There are organisations designed to change people into a perverted ifestyle. There is an organisation [now dormant] called NAMBLA. North American Man-Boy Love Association. They were very active in the 90s and has since been disbanded but in the light of this new round of perverts getting their way they are coming back. They are child molesters.

They suffer from 'FATHER ABSENCE', because of their perverted promiscuous society, both parents screw around with everyone in the village, nobody has a stable relationship and the mothers and grandmothers have to care for kids. Black fathers go around impregnating loads of women.

Your diversity = Promiscuity = poor parenting & absent fathers = low educational acheivement & poor discipline in kids = poverty = crime and gangs = jail. ... Oh and then blacks blame it on white supremacy.

Right, I miss those days when my friends could not be in Escondido past 5 pm even though my dad and I worked with them where they just happened to be black.
I guess it is my pure racism that had me getting guitar lessons from Rev Gary Davis at when I was 18 or having dinner at Libba Cotton's house in DC when I was heavily into acoustic country blues. Yep, HUGE racist and I am proud of it......
My guess is you never even HEARD of the Reverand or Libba or Arthur Crudup or Mississippi John Hurt or Joseph Spence from Andros, where I worked for 2 years.

Again, I am an independent thinker, unlike you. I see wrong on both sides. Do you? Or do you believe that you are correct all the time and your side holds the absolute truth in all matters? I would be willing to bet that you have nothing close to BIG money.

I don't believe that the government should be in the business of training us about diversity, what do you actually mean by that? We are all created equal. If people hate someone for being different than that shows ignorance. There is hatred and ignorance in a lot of people. What will a course do to change that? We need a change of the human heart. Young children grouped together to interact and play do not show hate for each other's differences....until they are taught to hate the differences.

What I’ve witnessed with the diversity training, is that it’s an eye opener for some, justification for others and for yet others it’s proof that the left are indoctrinating them.

So, swings and roundabouts, all round.

On the one hand I think they can be useful, but sometimes it’s just too much. Not everyone is busy with face colours, sexual orientations, etc. on the workfloor. And many of these people aren’t racist. They’re equally opposed to vitality training and the like, for example.

Obviously it also plays into the anti-woke club, you are completely clueless about everything and constantly spew forth right-wing tropes.
