Quoting the heavy weight intellectuals now, are we?

In fact, using Reagan as a source of material when debating anything is rather dim. He was, after all, the idiot of the 80's.
Let's examine some of his other remarks, shall we?

Facts are stupid things.
- R. Reagan -

Or, perhaps, in hindsight, let's not...
It's not that our liberal friends don't know anything, it's that they know so much that isn't so.
-RR.

Ex-president.
Do dead people have libraries?

...and like a jack in a box, up pops our resident bigot.

The president Reagan library... that's...well...it fits the national psyche, I suppose.

They don't bulldoze them when they die. Not that I think they should even have them in the first place.

I think libraries should be named after intellectuals or writers, whether they are presidents or not.

In Reagan's case I think the President Reagan Zeppelin would be more appropriate.

I think they should be named after whatever the libraries creator chooses.

Might I ask why the fervent dislike of Reagan? Capitalism? Anti-Communisms? Anti-liberalism?

It's worth noting that the public library system in this country was not created by socialists, but a successful capitalist.

My hatred for Reagan can best be summed up with words like: Panama.
Or sentences such as: "Supplying weapons of WMD to Saddam."

But I guess I could probably come up with a long boring list if need be.

You do know it was Noriega that declared that Panama was at a state of war with the U.S. and that it was Bush that invaded right?

Or sentences such as: "Supplying weapons of WMD to Saddam."

Unfortunately as Commander in Chief of the United States, his primary duties were to serve the defense and strategic interests of the U.S. Unfortunately that sometimes conflicts with the interesests of our enemies.

You do know that Noriega was trained at the terrorist training facility in Georgia USA called "The school of the Americas", don't you? And was a good friend of the US for many, many years!

All those civilians...

As for serving US interests, I'm sure you'll agree that history is gonna judge you on that one!

Yes. The first time he got paid by the U.S. was in '71. Noriega was used for his intel for years. That's what you don't like about Reagan? That he didn't order that the CIA and DEA stop getting info from Noriega?

I'm rushed.
But read this article, add Thatcherism (spit on floor) and you'll get the rough picture.
