he is not interested in debating climate change 😀 he wants to argue semantics then call you uneducated
Why do these dunces bury their head in the sand?
This isn't a left wing, right wing thing,
the planet is getting warmer quickly, ice caps melting, the sea is rising.
In 50 years people will lament, ''Why did no one do anything?''

You can search for better sources of energy even without the assumption that human activity has seriously damaged the climate. It is sufficient that human activity has seriosusly damaged the environment.
That was exactly my point.

eh who knows

some are trolls
some are ignorant
some are totally believing they will be billionaires one day and the jealous left will try and steal all their money
some are flatout stupid, because believing some scientist who barely has a salary is more likely to lie than a multi billion corporation standing to lose its profits if we build a cleaner industry.

.I tend to go with ''flat out stupid.''

How come Australia isn't on fire again?

If we caused the current climate events then wouldn't they repeat themselves every season?
Nothing has gotten better and by that logic we should see repeating patterns of new events in the same places.

Australia isn't on fire.

We've had worse hurricane seasons too...
Wouldn't every hurricane season be as bad or worse than ...[text shortened]... sing the environment to get worse and worse then every season should be worse than the last...right?
Uh… Australia had been on fire again. Perhaps you forget when their Summer is…

What does extra CO2 do?
Simply put: the more CO2 in the air, the less heat can escape from the planet.

Does industry and 6 billion extra people create more CO2?
Yes. Yes they do.

Ergo, even though the planet has natural cycles, this one has a very major cause: humans.

We create industry + 6 billion extra people’s worth of CO2. And that warms the Earth.
Now, as the Earth warms 2 major things happen:
- sea levels rise (which, besides the obvious disadvantages to anyone not living on a boat, will probably divert the warm water streams, causing major shifts in climate).
- sea water gets warmer (which means more evaporation which means larger and more violent storms).

How much is sea level rising?
Do you even know how much?

How do you know CO2 is the main cause?
What about methane?

"Human activity is not the only possible cause of climate changes"
Sure it isn't. Nobody is arguing otherwise. It is the main one for the current climate change. The one that is of particular interest to us, as we're bloody living through it.

How do you know? How could 0.048% CO2 be the main cause?

"Then specify instead of being deliberately vague."
Ha!

"I am not a climate change denier. To be a climate change denier I would have to deny the ice age happened. I have never done that."
Ha! Or that there is no such thing as climate, huh? That the whole world is a matrix simulation?

"You are science denying myth spreader."
Suuure baby, whatever you say
"No dear, climate change deniers are simply the ones who don't believe humanity is the main cause of the quite recent occurences. "

First you have to prove that. Where is your proof?
