I rest my case.
I don't understand this discussion anymore. Didn't he just say that it has
been said AIDS comes from Africa and spread through sodomy to the west?
He didn't actually say it has been proven, or that it's necessarily true, did
he? Am I dumb? :'(

Using the word alleged like that makes it pitiful. If he believes it to be true,
he should say something like: "I believe that AIDS originated in Africa and
spread to the west through sodomy".
Of course, if he puts it like that it gets ridiculous and has the ring of a blind
person trying to describe his visual impression of colours.
(As in not knowing what he's talking about for those, like me, whom are
dumb. đ )

I have an open mind on the subject, unless you can demonstrate that this theory had been conclusively disproved.

Wow, you've managed to be racist, homophobic, factually ignorant and illustrative of your stupidity and inability to construct sentences all in one go. Well done!
I understand that the latter statement at least is now generally accepted.
Originally posted by scipio2You just like to think of people having sex with animals, don't you?

"The disease is likely to have originated from monkeys in Africa, this is most probably from contact between human and animal blood that was contaminated with the disease. It is not the first or the last time that disease will cross the species barrier." No bestiality required unless you want it to be there because it suits certain other ideas you have about other people.
Originally posted by Bosse de NageI did not say that I accepted the explanation advanced by the letter-writer, so why do you assume that I have done so?
You like to believe that Africans have sex with monkeys, though, or are you just dumb enough to take old urban legends at face value?
I have never been to Africa so I am in no position to comment on her thesis; merely to report it.
