@wildgrass saidThey are just propping up our sick economy with inflation because they don't know what else to do. Since they had to increase the money supply to do it they gave 90% of it to the wealthy instead of people that needed it.
It's a great point. I will add it to my proposal. Pretty sure if I make it seem like its important for "safety" then it has a higher likelihood of getting approved.
"My yacht will come equipped with a pair of F-35 jets and anti-aircraft missiles in case that kind of thing is ever needed."

They didn't spend it on infrastructure. Why not? It needs it badly. Education?
The wealthy control government so they gave most of it to themselves. They don't care about us.

@sonhouse saidDidn't have to, an easy one. Proves that the govt is considered to be responsible for someone's personal life. Did I misread that? Please correct me.
@AverageJoe1
Do you actually PAY someone to write this drivel?
I am just waiting for Biden to be gone, in a few months, to see what happens, something new to talk about. The Ukraine war has slowed his exit, but not long now.
@averagejoe1 saidDon't reflect, Joe, and don't use so many bang and quesses. It only makes you look more like Bigly Don.
Did you see Wildgrass, 8 clicks back, blaming some entity for delaying his marriage and his buying a house? Who is he blaming? The kind loan officer who loaned him the money, lest he get no college? The government? He holds them LIABLE to him!?!?!? The worst of all liberals. Shallow, I guess I have to write your name below the jester ( a short little page) in my journal.

@shallow-blue saidLooks? What has looks got to do with anything?
Don't reflect, Joe, and don't use so many bang and quesses. It only makes you look more like Bigly Don.
Don’t go too far out to the frisbee field, we are at waiting someone to tell us that you are wrong in your post regarding corporate taxes.
@averagejoe1 saidDrunk again, Joe? Or are you using Ebonic grammar this time?
we are at waiting someone

@earl-of-trumps saidThis would be true if all your friends were military contractors or lobbyists.
@wildgrass
Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz?
My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends
Worked hard all my lifetime, no help from my friends
So, oh, Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz?

@averagejoe1 saidProjecting again Joe.
You fellers use the 'wealth of others' as an excuse for shortcomings and problems in the country, they have nothing to do with you, and any tax breaks, which I myself take, are all part of the law which was made by Dems and repubs over the years.
It's the policy, not the wealth itself.
Person A works 50 hours a week, busts it, sweats, showers at the end of the day kind of work, builds a career and pays millions of dollars in taxes.
Person B inherits a fortune, sits on his pool float, invests dads money in the stock market and pays zero dollars in taxes.
Which person would you rather be? Which person should be the model citizen? We aren't judging anyone here (don't project) but government punishes the working man.
Government should incentivize work not wealth. Instead it does the opposite. I am a capitalist at heart, but end stage capitalism will eat itself in wealth unless it is taxed at least on par with normal income.
@wildgrass saidFor centuries people get rich or poor. What in the HELL are you talking about? What are you suggesting.? That it is not fair for one guy to work hard, and one guy to inherit tax-sheltered money? Skip all this other stuff and tell us what you and Marx want.
Projecting again Joe.

Your comparison is faulty. You should use the percentage table provided by Dems and libs for decades. The more someone makes, the larger percent of his income. Hell, roughly 50% of us pay NO taxes. You conveniently omit that. You a lib, are ‘ya.?
So the rich pay close to 40%, and it goes down the table to 10%.
All set up by Dems and libs. Started about 100 years ago. Whew. Write your senator. Get a grip. Why write about how unhappy you are about the law? I’m unhappy the law turns rapists out of jail. I’m un happy that they are not thrown into a dungeon till they die. Boo hoo.
As to the rich kid with money earned by his father. Do you think it is OK for me to die leaving him with the same net worth that I have? It’s mine, you know. It isn’t your business.
As to the rich paying no taxes, a lot of thought by Dems and repubs apparently agreed on it. Had to be a reason, maybe Sonhouse could look it up.
You fellers REALLY hate the successful. Give em hell Wildgrass. Many here get their paychecks from the rich. Maybe we SHOULD leave them alone.

@wildgrass saidThe govt should incentivize work? Really? Where does it say that? In your Marxist mind? Just how much govt control do you think is really healthy?

Have you ever noticed my saying govt should get out of the way? Do you even know what that means? Your man Trump did a great job with govt deregulation so that people (like me) can prosper without red tape. Ends up people had $5k increase in income.
What are you talking about?
@wildgrass saidOh lord won’t you buy me, a Mercedes Benz…
Dear Uncle Sam.
I work hard. I work harder than the guy working next to me. I have a proposal to create jobs.
Buy me a yacht. There will be tons of jobs created by the construction project alone. Boatsmen and plumbers and electricians. I need a big one, like Jeff Bezos got. I know his company only benefits from many billions of dollars in federal subsidies, and all I' ...[text shortened]... d.
Please, the taxpayers will understand. It will create jobs.
Sincerely,
A "conservative?"
