I wrote the Person A Person B post with regard to who pays taxes and what type of income is currently incentivized by the government (wealth/income) and what type of income is not incentivized (work).

That is the current situation. I made no reference to Karl Marx or fairness or anything near what you rambled on about in your post. You claim that everyone else on this forum blabs about fairness all the time but it's you posting it, not me. If you want a discussion, please stay on topic and quit with the fairness. We are all in agreement that life's not fair.

The military contractor in Kentucky (Mitch's home state) owns a yacht. He didn't build a single thing that was used to keep us safe, and yet taxpayers bought him a yacht because he created jobs.

I want to create jobs too, so I just thought the yacht thing was part of the package. I'm not sure why the conservatives are out here defending the federally-financed yachts for billionaires program, sponsored by the Pentagon.

This thread was started because AverageJoe was arguing that student loan repayment is unfair, but corporate welfare is justified.

Farming has billions of dollars in profits. Billions. So the federal government, i.e. your taxes, is funding an industry that is raking in profits.

We still have not identified an individual residing in the US who did not buy his yacht from a tax payer. You are supporting policies that buy yachts for billionaires. Good for you.
