While I have you, what is 'Fair Share', a phrase raised by Biden. The top 1% pay about half of all taxes. How far you fellers want to go hitting them up for more money? What is Fair? And do you realize that there is only one place to get the extra money you ask about...... (assuming we dont stop spending like sailors), and that is the Middle Class. That class has a lot more money to go after than that extra money you might fleece from the top 1%.
You are aware that Biden is not telling the whole story about who he is going to tax.....you think just those over $400K? Yeah, right.

You do realize that America is a country with less than 5% of the world's population consuming 25% of the world's natural resources, right ?
Maybe next time Trump bleats that America is being treated unfairly, try defining what is fair ? Hmmm ?
If America is providing an umbrella of support to other countries, that is admirable and is usually supported by the global community in general.
But when you have an administration that seems intent on playing the world bully because the leader has a personality disorder, then the optics change.
That being said, going back to cutting spending or increasing taxes, I think in your country, the situation will come to a head where the tough decisions will have to be made.
Where will the spending cuts be made ?

The US has about 600 overseas bases. We really need this? Really???
EDIT to add: The biggest reason why we should cut the military is, we cannot
TRUST the people that are in charge of it. One case in point:
Afghanistan: The US has fought a losing war there for TWENTY years. WHY????
Does anyone actually recall the bogus reason Americans were given for going
into Afghanistan in the first place?? All corruption on a major scale.
