@shavixmir saidYou are free to lump all religious extremism in the same box if that is the best you are capable of. However your limitations should not hinder those who can see how they are different from discussing it. You are like a colour blind man telling the world there are only shades of grey when the world sees all colours. People will just laugh at you. If you can see colours then at least try to follow the conversation.
Oh listen to the pro-life lobby wail.
And hark as the Christian right in the US denounces communism in their 30.000 people churches.
Is it not the Christian right who refer to themselves as WASP and hate anyone who isn’t white, anglo-saxon... and protestant?
There is no degree of importance. Extremists are extreme and the only degree is to be found in how literal they take their books.
@shavixmir saidI wouldn’t agree that Christianity isn’t any better in this particular example/scenario. Not that it particularly matters within the context of your post anyway.
Well, let’s be honest Christianity and Judaism aren’t any better.
Edit: I edited out “Judaism” as frankly I don’t know.

@shavixmir saidThat’s not the same thing Shav and you know it. Two bad things don’t have to be equally as bad just because they are religious.
Christians shouting anti-gay hate at US funerals of service men.
There’s so much.
@divegeester saidSomeone thumbsdown all 3 of your posts already within seconds of posting? Someone loves you and stalking you. I think I know who she is.
Yes contemporary religious hate vs middle-ages hate.

@rajk999 saidFrom a historical perspective... who killed more, do you think? Christians or Moslims?

In the last 80 years? Who killed more?
In the last 30 years? Who killed more?
See a pattern yet?

The post that was quoted here has been removedYour language is the language of a hateful extremist. So extremism and hate is not limited to religion. Atheists and all manner of people are capable and do in fact practice hatred towards people who express opinions which differ from their own.
