As I already pointed out several times, there'd be no need to install a "puppet government"; just have the Congress certify Trump the winner by ignoring the actual State certifications. You think Trump would have done anything to stop that? It took him hours to even tell them to leave the Capitol.

EDIT: I suppose you could say that quite a few entered through doors that were opened by other rioters who had gained access through a broken window.
