There are two “air force one” aircraft. When Obama travels, both must fly for safety reasons. If ONE of the planes is unavailable, Obama cannot travel.
I certainly hope no one believes Obama was “grounded” without his prior approval. He had to be involved in order to insure HIS schedule would not be affected. It is simply not possible.
Louis Caldera is falling on his sword for the team. Voluntary or Involuntary is the only question.

The F16 plane made it more scary. I'm sure people thought it might have been a hijacked plane headed for a building that the F16 was reluctant to shoot down because it was a populated area. After 9/11 it's hard to imagine anyone seeing that sight and not at least considering the possibility that they were under attack.
And, the plane does not have a big sign ...[text shortened]... his is the President's Plane." From a distance it looks like any other commercial airliner.

I guess all those people in Asia who faced the tsunami should have stood tougher against it.
Maybe people facing earthquakes or volcanic eruptions or terminal cancer are just a bunch of wusses and little girls. They should be tougher.
In real life, if you think a 747 is coming at you, you run for dear life. That's called "fear" and it's an essential survival skill for all advanced animals. I think you're either joking or haven't really thought this through.

Your carefully argued - and possibly correct - hunch that there is a cover up afoot over this fly-by idiocy would be a good deal more persuasive if you hadn't carefully argued that the U.S. president, only last year, believed there are 59 or so states in the union.
You probably need to keep some of your er... less flammable powder dry from time to time if you intend to lay out your store as the resident critic of Obama's intelligence, lest others here question your intelligence in the matter of choosing which accusations might stick and which accusations might not.

Typical NY mentaility, lets make a big deal of things.....for god sake, the plane was well above the skyscraper, the plane was not flying at the buildings, it was above the buidlings....so lets panic shall we.....
If your going to bring up earthquake etc, then the people who everyday could be blown up by car bombs around the world are the one that should be scared....but donlt see any threads about that do we !!!
