The post that was quoted here has been removedFirst of all...you're not getting away with that.
If you'd like to debate.
You can do it in a civil manner, just like everyone else.
You project your own desperation as you resort to name-calling and insult.
You've been warned of this bad habit of yours, repeatedly.
I realize that adjusting your style to affect a civil tone is difficult for you.
But please try harder.
@Duchess64 - Can Wolfe63 name any Russian armed police or soldiers who are terrified of
being killed by unarmed anti-Putin protestors?
Where the hell are you coming from??
The crowds have been intense, larger than any protest movement before. 100 cities. They will protest this weekend and you think you can predict future behavior by looking at similar historical events?
Jeeeezus.
Russian police searching Navalny ally's flat treated to Beethoven piano recital
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian investigators searching the Moscow flat of an ally of jailed Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny were given an unusual welcome late on Wednesday - a spirited Beethoven piano recital by the activist who they later arrested. ------------------------ https://www.reuters.com/article/us-russia-politics-navalny-search-piano/russian-police-searching-navalny-allys-flat-treated-to-beethoven-piano-recital-idUSKBN29X1ZO

The Kremlin is going after *anyone* that is close to Navalny.
In another incident, a professor who protested last weekend was fired from his teaching post.
This weekend should be critical and yet the bogus arrests by the Kremlin keep coming. They're begging for a kick in the teeth, IMO.
President Biden has now involved himself into this provocative affair.

White House says Biden in call with Russia's Putin called for Navalny release
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden called on Russian President Vladimir to release jailed Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny during their phone call this week, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters on Friday.
Biden pressed Putin on a number of issues, including alleged election interference in the 2020 election, Ukraine sovereignty, the massive SolarWind cyber hack, and Navalny.

Temperatures will be sub-zero this weekend in much of Russia. That should help to suppress the crowds, unfortunately.

As Protests Grip Russia, Putin Critics of Many Stripes Rally Around Navalny
Rarely have these disparate groups come together as they have in the last week around Mr. Navalny — because the moment has arrived, more and more Russians say, when they can no longer abide passive acceptance of Mr. Putin.
“Navalny has, for the first time, sparked a Russian protest movement against the president,” said Konstantin Gaaze, a sociologist at the Moscow School for Social and Economic Sciences. “It is a historic moment for the country.”
