OK, but follow me here. Yes, I am personally opposed to stopping the heartbeat of a fetus in the womb. You are correct. I am speaking of me.
I can also say at the same time that neither I nor the priest or the government has the power or right to tell a woman that she can not have an abortion......it is her choice.
So, as I have said for years, women have the ...[text shortened]... pay for an abortion. And here you sit saying that I should pay for that of the neighbor.
🤔 🤔 🤔
You reek of hypocrisy !!
The right to life stance of anyone taking this position should never be disregarded or ridiculed.
In your case, you engage in self-ridicule every time you participate in this debate.
It's actually comical at times.
Your past statement that women engage in sex to get pregnant, only to terminate the pregnancy later is a testament to your abject stupidity.
Women have sex because like to get laid as much as men do. (I said "get laid" just to get under your religious skin).
For the vast majority, they use birth control, which people like you oppose.
They have sex outside marriage, which people like you whine about in church every Sunday.

As to your continued attempts to pass your stance as an issue of government funding of abortion, that is laughable.
The ongoing fight to overturn Roe v Wade is not about ending funding for abortion.
It is about ending abortion. Period !!

And your argument about the sanctity of life ??
A joke in light of your support of the gun culture that exists in the US today.
A joke in light of continued GOP efforts to throw sand in the gears of a vaccination rollout which has cost lives numbering probably in the hundreds of thousands in the US.

Show some intellectual honesty for a change.
Tell us that you oppose abortion (irregardless of funding) because of your religious views on human sexuality.
Of course, people should be more responsible.
Using birth control is responsible. Using condoms is responsible.
Having sex outside of marriage, or even pro-creation, is human nature.
Nobody is forcing you to change your views.
Just stop trying to mandate those views on the majority of the population.

I have never said 'women engage in sex to get pregnant'. Never said it. I will report this lie to Suzianne, you will receive a reprimand.
The sentence which follows"....only to terminate' is thus quite irrelevant Is it not? It does not relate back to the statement which is a lie. Got nuthin to do with nuthin. You fall short on debating skills.
You say women have sex because they like to get laid. I agree with that, but do not know why you are making this obvious factoid a part of this thread. Why you say that?
You say women use birth control. I agree with that, but, again, what has that got to do with the issue?
They have sex outside of marriage? I agree with that, but, again, what has that got to do with the issue?
And why are your writing about RoevWade? It has nothing to do with this post, that I think abortion is a choice for women to make....that, I do not like abortion.....that, when they do it, it is their business and I cannot for the life of me understand why disinterested unconnected parties should pay or be involved in a personal matter.
Guns? Yes, sanctity of my family's life, which I protect with a gun, to shoot any man who tries to hurt them. Lib weenies would never even consider that. Hell, hand me a gun and I will shoot the guy trying to harm your family.
A joke is that you are for forcing vaccinations. Real Americans do not like to be forced, turkey, unless they are liberals all herded, as they are, into a mob to do a they are told. Am I going to have to come down there, Kev!?!?
Tell you I oppose abortion? Sure, I do think a baby in the womb should be given a chance at life,,,,it is not his fault. My reason is not about sexuality (whatever you mean by that), nor my religious views. It is about a pair of scissors to the back of a baby's neck.....bam! Dead. The baby doesn't even know about religion.
Geez.
YOU WANT ME TO STOP MANDATING views on the majority of the population. But you will not stop mandating vax. Did you start this thread calling ME a hypocrite? You are really making me mad, having to type drivel.
Everyone, watch for Kev to drop off this thread. He got nuthin! He flounders, says things like Having sex outside marriage is human nature, which is nothing I have ever touched on. Not in this thread. WEIRD stuff.

Very good, MG, FIVE THUMBS UP.
You forgot to mention to this below average poster,
the existence of 'THE HYDE AMENDMENT,' that explicitly
bans the use of FEDERAL monies to fund abortions/
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In U.S. politics, The Hyde Amndment is a legislative provision barring the use of federal funds to pay for abortion, except to save the life of the woman, or if the pregnancy arises from incest or rape. Before the Hyde Amendment took effect in 1980, an estimated 300,000 abortions were performed annually using federal funds.Wikipedia
I was unaware of this.
Since the American public is largely in
favor, of a woman's right to choose, I applaud
this action. I believe a women's reproductive
health should be covered by available funding.
