I believe a person is open minded when that person allows others to do things that are immoral in my mind. If it is not against the law, then I have no problem with people doing it.
Most people seem to believe that open minded means you think like a liberal, and being a liberal believe others should not be allowed to believe differently. Such people would be called bigots.
But who is the bigot? Is it the one who allows others to believe differently or the one that demands others accept their beliefs as truth?

@eladar saidI may get in trouble for saying this, but if someone is not breaking the law, then whatever someone 'thinks' about that person, is, well...irrelevant?? If I hate dogs (and you love them) l you may think me a dog bigot or whatever. But what difference, or what impact, to me or to society, is there on what you think?

And, is your opinion of me judging, which is looked down upon by Jesus, in Mathew 5-7?

@averagejoe1 saidSo you believe that Jesus told people nothing is sinful? Just wondering what you believe since you brought it up.

@eladar saidIn Nazi Germany it was legal to send undesirables to death camps, oh great open minded one.

So do you want to adjust this opinion of yours that you put so much free thinking effort into? Or nah?
"Is it the one who allows others to believe differently or the one that demands others accept their beliefs as truth?"
Interesting you say this, right after you said women should serve as incubators for 9 months because you believe killing fetuses is murder.

@zahlanzi saidI believe we declared war on Nazi Germany. Correct me if I am wrong, oh benefitor of US greatness.

@shavixmir saidNow comprehend my point oh great bigot.
Now go back and comprehend the moral objection to the OP, instead of opening your arse and letting the wind spew forth.

@eladar saidDumbass, you're proving my point. Your brain fart of an idea claimed that as long as something is legal, you have no problem with it and those that do are bigots.
I believe we declared war on Nazi Germany. Correct me if I am wrong, oh benefitor of US greatness.
Killing jews was legal in Nazi Germany. The US (along with the rest of the allies) put a stop to it. Are they the bigots? Or is it maybe the case that laws have nothing to do with morality. That people disagreeing with what was legal, slavery, women not having a vote, child labour, etc is what drove every progress we made as a civilization.

@zahlanzi saidReally? So the US has laws that allowing the slaughter of helpless? I am a US citizen, that means my comment applies to the US.

Are you not smart enough to figure that out on your own?

You did and do, actually. I don't believe anyone has ever been prosecuted for the genocide of the native americans or when some drone operator kills civilians.
I had enough talking to imbeciles for now. I will take a break. Until the next time you say something stupid or disgusting

@zahlanzi saidThe indians were at war with US. We took the land we wanted and let them live on reservations, which is land the US did not feel was useful.

So you have a problem with the US killing its enemies. Gotcha, you are lucky to live in a world where your country is protected by the US. The Western world depends on the US for safety.

@eladar saidFor ten thousand years, give or take!., tribes, then societies, of people, took lands, plain and simple. Conquering, The way of life. One can justify the taking of Indian land, others say it should still be like it was 400 years ago. So that is sort of that.

But to say the stuff above about it being 'legal' to kill jews, that is quite a stretch. Get back to reality, it is a good post but no sense going far afield. If my gang takes over the city of Haymeadow, Oregon, and I am the boss, I might tell them to kill everyone, and you are saying that that is legal,,,,,that that is a law????
Hard to respond to a non-truth. Hitler's orders were not laws, at least not law that is recognized as law.

@zahlanzi saidListen to ole Zahlanzi. Holier than thou! Couldn't resist, typed history of Romania, suffice to say that a lot of his forebears kicked some butt. What a laugh. No wonder he took a break. Here is only one of the links.https://localhistories.org/a-brief-history-of-romania/
