@whodey saidCan Trump be "arrested"?
So don't arrest someone who is committing a crime based upon the assumption that they will probably not be thrown in jail by a court of law?
Really?
Actually, it's quite common for prosecutors not to file charges if they think the likelihood of conviction is poor.

@no1marauder saidIf you really believe Trump is a puppet of Putin then you would have a duty to remove him any means possible, unless you don't care about the country, which is also a possibility with your party of democrats.

@no1marauder saidI support backing what you say for a change instead of all of this endless political posturing.
So you support impeachment and removal now?
Americans are dead tired of politicians dancing around saying that their opponents need to be impeached for crimes, etc., while not taking the steps to do so.
This goes for both sides. We want to see heads roll or shut the hell up.
@whodey saidIs that a "yes" or a "no"?

@no1marauder saidWhodey has branded Trump a "criminal," while at the same time arguing against Trump's impeachment. Evidently, whodey's self-respect is so low he would gladly accept a criminal president as long as it makes the "liberals" upset.
So you support impeachment and removal now?

@no1marauder saidThe democrats SHOULD proceed with impeachment which they swore to do the first day he took office.
Is that a "yes" or a "no"?

@kazetnagorra saidExcuse me? Trump has not been found guilty of anything, or did I miss something?

It is people like you who insist he is a criminal and needs to be removed.
So put up or shut up.

@no1marauder saidYou still believe in the polls.....
The wise pundits of the media were virtually unanimous in declaring Mueller's testimony on Wednesday as a "disaster" for the Democrats and a huge political win for the Donald. But a couple of polls taken after that testimony seem to contradict that assessment.
First, there is YouGov's. In its poll taken on July 22-23, 43% approved of Trump, while 49% disapproved. But ...[text shortened]... ons regarding the effect of the public testimony was more accurate than the after the fact punditry.

@tobias9122 saidThey got the Democratic slaughter of the Republicans pretty correct in 2018 with a few exceptions.
You still believe in the polls.....

Anyway, these polls aren't even close.

@whodey saidThe first thing congress does is the House votes on whether the "crimes committed" rise to the level of impeachment, simple majority. If they vote yes, the Senate determines guilt, taking 2/3s to confirm.
Excuse me? Trump has not been found guilty of anything, or did I miss something?

The problem is, this isn't like Nixon, who was guilty, Trump has committed no crimes. Now when big Bubba was impeached, the house agreed that he did commit a crime that was worthy of impeachment, lying under oath to a grand jury.
The luck ass had every democrat in the senate vote not guilty.
So anyway, lesson learned. The dems have as much chance of getting this by the senate as the devil does of getting an ice cream cone.

@no1marauder saidnot in a court of law, no. but he can by the congress.
You know perfectly well he can't be found guilty of criminal activity while he is President.
