Yikes, remember the last debate between these two olds? Highlights:

- Trump, who had COVID during the debate, complained about precautions that Biden was taking to prevent COVID from spreading.

- Joe Biden was forced to say "Will you shut up man?" because Trump was constantly interrupting him as he answered questions.

- Trump says "there's nothing happening there" ...[text shortened]... s, who then went on to storm the Capitol.

I don't think the current debating format is any good. The aim of each candidate is just to produce one or two emotionally charged sound bites that will be quoted the next day in the press.

What we need is an actual debate over policies and political philosophy, but it has degenerated into a slanging match of 'gotchas.'

I will phrase it this way before you confuse the Forum. ALL debates have had the same format.....Reagan and Carter, 10 feet from each other, chatting. Eye to Eye. (Biden will not even have to look T in the eye?). Bush and Gore, Trump and Hillary. All did debates in the only fashion with which I am familiar, and with which 330M Americans are familiar. Biden dictates (you see that, Sonhouse?) that it will be different now, like the Border is different.

See if you can link-respond to this simple scenario that I present to you.

Note that. you do not respond specifically to this issue. Did you see where I posted that Biden lied about inflation. A good debater would respond about his being a liar. Sonhouse and some turkey named YeahBoy wrote a few posts about the subject of inflation. You have done that here. Whew.

(Note that the two men could do this remotely on camera, not even be in the same city.)
Would you rather have the two debaters face off like Bush Gore, Reagan Carter? Or would you rather that they do NOT go face to face.
You would rather the latter, but your man B has f'd you by not giving you that scenario.

It's a ridiculous question. They put the words 'Proud Boys' in his mouth, he was obviously unaware of wht they were talking about, it's not a white supremacist club.
