@spruce112358 saidI generally use caps when I know that your constituents and you would need a point to be highlighted.
As you were putting words in my mouth you FORGOT TO DO IT IN ALL CAPS!!! 😀
In this particular case, what I said just above is common sense and logic, surely everyone will get it. Like, if you say to go after Bezos, I would take that to mean to punish him, to punish success. Everyone here SURELY would agree that attacking him would be to deny him freedom and democracy.
@no1marauder saidSo you tell us that you are the prima donna of debates, and leave it at that. But i would be curious how a 'winner' could be decided in such a joust. Would it be How much they know, or, how well they debate?. Sharp minds, such as that. In my case, the latter. IF we nitpick, probably both come into play with presidents. Do you think Biden is sharper and/or knows more stuff, or would that be Trump.?
You said you were a "judge" at debates. The types of debates which have judges, formal ones, do not allow direct interaction between the debaters. Nor do they allow debaters to stray from the debate subject by asking unrelated questions to the other side. Since you complained about the supposed absence of either in Biden's proposal, I can only conclude your claim about be ...[text shortened]... to enforce the existing rules that otherwise Trump has shown a disrespect for. Good and about time.
@AverageJoe1 saidIn the 2020 debate, Biden was at least disciplined and stayed on point. Trump rants and raves and generally makes an utter fool of himself at these things; I remember him crying and complaining about some pointless feud he had with Rosie O'Donnell a decade earlier during one of the debates with Hillary.

Point is, Trump sucks at debate; why do you think Biden is so anxious to have one so early in the campaign?

@no1marauder saidDebating is a game, a martian looking in would say they are playing, trying to best each other with wit, and jousting to knock each other off balance. Who do you think is the most balanced?? Riiiiiiiiiiiigggghhht.

So, I would say, if asked!, that Trump is smart to 'do what he does that upsets you'. It apparently works. He wants libs to get confused, and does a good job of it. The more he knocks the old man off balance**, the more votes he will garner.
Debating is a game, but as usual, you make things out to be so serious. No humor, we all get that. So, into the arena they will go. Do you REALLY think Trump should act respectful after all the hell over 8 years? I hope he kicks his butt anyway he wants to. Hey, Maruader, could you hyenas blame him?
** I have no reservations to call Biden what he is...., in my opinion he should not be there.
@AverageJoe1 saidYou forget Joe that Trump is highly unpopular, mostly because of his jerk personality. Being even more of a jerk in front of a big TV audience won't help him with swing and independent voters who's mind he has to change from how they voted 4 years ago.

@AverageJoe1 saidAccording to polls, Trump lost all three debates to Hillary in 2016: "In fact, major post-debate polls following the candidates' three debates from September to October showed that respondents believed Clinton emerged as the victor over Trump, ranging from a five-point margin of victory to a 40-point margin."

He also lost to Biden in their debate, according to polls:
"A CNN instant poll of debate watchers finds that 53% of the watchers thought Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden won the final presidential debate. Meanwhile, 39% said Donald Trump emerged a winner."

@no1marauder saidThank you for your studied opinion, which is curiously the same as that of Sonhouse.

There are also about 80 million people who also have your opinion. You want to get rid of Trump, and have Biden be president for four more years, who will not, and you will have Kamala. So we have all that on the table.
Trump is equally as popular, about 80 million people. What you think is a jerk is something we call a great debater, among other things. National Security, Economy (don't get me started, 1.4% to 9% inflation), Respect of other countries, manhandler of NATO countries. We WANT him to get into a slugfest in the debate, to win and to win votes. People want to see a man. You faeries are so scared that he will not debate like a sweet little dutch candy salesperson, but rather like a leader. Yeah,,dont you see, that is the idea.
Did you just say that Trump will not shine, and swing independent voters to vote for him? Actually, the failure, the crash of Biden in a debate, will swing the votes. The livelihood of these voters is on the line.
Do you agree with me that Biden should pee in a cup before taking the stage? Recall his out-of-character demeanor at SOTU.
@AverageJoe1 saidI have this weird image of Clint Eastwood debating with an empty chair: "Like, if this chair said..."

I'm right here. You can hear what I ACTUALLY have to say. You don't have to tell me what I'm going to say. It's unnecessary, rude and wastes electrons 🙂
@spruce112358 saidhahahah you see what I mean, heaps funnier than anything shag doody posted in 20 years.
Well, you aren't American, so the idea of destroying American democracy may be hilarious to you.
Not to me.
@shavixmir
Yep, he added that D and E in there, it certainly was misspelled🙂
One thing about that so called debate, Biden cannot mention anything about ongoing trials, only ones concluded and those were slander and civil fraud which would just have Trump lying through his orange teeth.
Manson held up a NY Times front page during his trial where it say Nixon says Manson is guilty, even before the trial started which could influence juries. So now it is not exactly illegal but very taboo but not trials completed.
You know, Trump used to be a fisherman, his job was JUNIOR baiter till he was promoted to Master.

@Mott-The-Hoople saidThere will not be a debate which is like past debates (he who is silent will have his mike cut off etc)...., Uhhh, why is that ? What is with Biden's bosses dictating the way the debate will run? Why can't Trump dictate? Is Biden a dictator, I thought you faeries did not like dictators.
there will not be any debates
there is no way that Biden's bosses will let him be in a position to have to hear and respond directly to a comment made to him by Donald Trump. Why is that? Is he not a real man. One needs a real man to be president of this country.
If roles were reversed, you faeries would be calling Trump a scaredy cat.
