Here is an excerpt from the link below:

"There are no criminal penalties or an enforcement mechanism associated with this law but other federal laws do punish folks for mishandling government records.

For instance, under U.S. Code Title 18, section 2071, someone could face a fine and up to three years in prison."

This is a fake scandal. Violating the act is not a crime. Sorry Trump haters.
You quote a federal criminal statute which was one of the bases of the warrant application and then claim "Violating the act is not a crime"?

How much of an imbecile are you?

That federal criminal statute is not the PRA you imbecile.
Feel free to tell me what part of that federal criminal statute he intentionally violated though. He didn't do anything that HRC didn't do.

No one claimed he could be prosecuted under the PRA, dimwit.

I already told you I'm not relitigating HRC; I did so 6 years ago.

And I already gave you reasons why this case might very well be different. And that was before I realized that materials from 48 folders marked "CLASSIFIED" are missing.

All of your reasons apply to HRC with her past top secret emails.
Trump will not be charged with a crime for the same reasons HRC was not charged with a crime. You need to prove intent. Comey said so.

No former presidents have actually been penalized for breaking this (18 U.S. Code § 2071) law, if someone were to be found guilty of mishandling government records, they could face penalties under other federal laws and could be “disqualified from holding any office under the United States.”

Republicans will think this is a conspiracy to prevent Trump from running in 2024. They already think that was attempted using impeachment to try post Jan 6. This is just a recipe for partisan division even worse than it is now. Perhaps that is the goal.

Divide and conquer. The hate grows. Lord Vader is pleased.

No, all the reasons don't, as I patiently explained to you.

You didn't explain anything relevant. The PRA is irrelevant.
Which part of the 18 U.S. Code § 2071 law did he violate?

You are misinformed. From the warrant affidavit:

On or about May 6, 2021, NARA [National Archives] made a request for missing PRA [Presidential Records Act] records and continued to make requests until approximately late December 2021 when NARA was informed twelve boxes were found and ready for retrieval at the PREMISES [Margo Largo]."

https://www.npr.org/2022/08/26 ...[text shortened]... aking documents wherever he pleased. Maybe you could explain the mechanism they would have to do so.
It is not a crime.
