Also BTW, those billions of kilowatts of power may go down the tubes anyway do to the drought, it is already under threat of loss of power because the water is so far down so it matters little WHO is against or for the dam, nature will take its own form of revenge.

Also btw, the entire idea of dams forming huge lakes changes totally the bio diversity of the region and not for the better.

A hydroelectric dam, which would provide a tremendous amount of electricity to our western states, will likely never be built, due to roadblocks of government regulations, and a plethora of liberal obstructionists in the name of environment, noise, fumes, and eradication of pet walks and yoga gardens.
Court filings will be years in the process.

Also missed this from earlier, but why's it called the Hoover Dam when it was built during the Coolidge administration? Joe neglected to mention that after it was first proposed in 1922 the Hoover Dam did take almost a decade of political and legal maneuverings before it broke ground.
