@sonhouse saidSo people under 21 should not be able to buy guns, yet carry one and shoot people in the military? Explain how that makes sense.
@Metal-Brain
Oh yeah, demanding policy that will never happen, way to go comrade.
Any OTHER anti American BS you want to propagate while you are at it.
Just raising the age to buy weapons has PROVEN to stop teenage sicko's from school shootings but as usual you want to tie that with a political agenda.
Smooth move comrade.
@Metal-Brain
Because, you POS ASSSWIPE, children are getting killed IN THEIR CLASSROOMS along with their teachers, an 18 yo going into the military will not have a chance to go back to a classroom and murder children. You turn 18 in Israel you go into the military and besides that, we don't have a draft so you are just daft.
You NEVER know what you are talking about since you do all your talking out your ass.
@sonhouse saidLOL!

So you want to send 18 year olds to war to kill people so they cannot kill people at home? How daft is that?
You really are embarrassing yourself.
Three people have died and at least 11 other people were wounded in a shooting late Saturday night in Philadelphia, authorities said.
The Philadelphia Police Department responded to reports of a person with a gun in a large crowd.

stop stupid actions from younger people too? We shouldn't do that because they
are mature enough to do those at a younger age. The simple reason, regardless
of age, is that one can act out and kill another; it isn't age; it is the evil in man's
heart that they act on that does this.
If we void looking at the root cause of this, we are not looking at why they do it;
we are turning away from how we view life; it is precious. When we teach and live
as if other lives are just objects meant to satisfy our wants and desires, we don't
teach that life is precious; we teach life can be cast aside to have what we want.
The fruit of this mindset allows others to view another's life as meaningless so that
it can be ended if we are mad, if we feel we are denied something, or if there is no
point.
@metal-brain saidI don't see the problem with that it makes sense to me.

@jj-adams saidSee how they come in clusters? The news media over reported the white supremacist and the Uvalda horror stories. This is the result. More mass shootings.
I don't see the problem with that it makes sense to me.

@metal-brain saidIdentifying such people is definitely important. But it shouldn't be used as a substitute for tougher gun legislation.

@vivify saidWhat tougher gun legislation? What do you think is a solution? Banning the AR 15 will not get rid of all semiautomatic rifles. People will just buy another semiautomatic rifle and they can buy one with a higher caliber than the AR 15 if they want. Then what?

You would like to ban all semiautomatic rifles. Right?
@metal-brain saidThen they'll suffer higher recoil and lower magazine capacity and will kill fewer people, in theory. The .223 was invented for a reason - killing people efficiently.

@metal-brain saidGetting rid of weapons specifically made for mass slaughter would be a good start.

@athousandyoung saidLower magazine capacity? Is that all?

Biden said he wanted to ban high capacity magazines. Would you be satisfied if that was all that is done or do you want the AR 15 banned too?
@metal-brain saidUh… yes.

Look at the Netherlands. You can’t own a semi-automatic rifle… and we have 0 mass shootings with semi-automatic rifles.
Now, this could all be down to door control, praying to Jesus or enough good guys with guns… but you know as well as I what the secret is.
