Look at the Netherlands. You can’t own a semi-automatic rifle… and we have 0 mass shootings with semi-automatic rifles.

Nobody in US government is suggesting banning semiautomatic rifles that I am aware of. The AR 15 is just one of many semiautomatic rifles people can legally buy. If the AR 15 is banned there are other semiautomatic rifles to choose from.

You want the USA to be like the Netherlands. Apparently you don't like our constitution, but it ain't up to you.

You do realise, as has been pointed out quite often, that the second amendent you trailer trash allude to doesn’t actually say you are allowed to own and bear arms; outside the context of a well regulated militia (read: army)?

You do realise that during a football game the guy making the calls, the referee, isn’t from one of the two competing teams… this has to do with objectivity… expand that thought if you will…

You do know that the US constitution is based on the 1579 Dutch constitution (establishment of the confederal republic of the Seven United Provinces)?

Tell us Americans to change the 2nd amendment all you want. Nobody seems motivated to fixing the constitution. You don't honestly think that will happen, do you?

However, it is my obligation to point out the faults of your system (and Europes’ stystems and systems anywhere else).

They don’t need to change, people just need to be able to see the faults.

Just raising the age to buy weapons has PROVEN to stop teenage sicko's from school shootings but as usual you want to tie that with a political agenda.

Why not just raise the age for military service?
They are too young and naive to know what they are getting into. I know I was when I was that age. Give them some time to learn about foreign policy.
