@vivify saidsystemic racism is nothing more than a tool to blame whites for the failures of blacks.
See the OP. Rap has drastically changed since the 90s, when you elderly folks heard about "gangsta" rap.
Despite this, you guys keep blaming rap music for the social problems blacks face. Instead of holding the police accountable for killing unarmed, non-violent blacks you blame rap music. Instead of acknowledging decades (really, centuries) of systemic racism, you just blame rap music.
When its all said and done, they will still be black and you will still be queer. But your teaming with anyone/anything to harm normal people is noted.
@vivify saidI never came across anyone that blames rap for the social problem of blacks. Here is the list again for what is to blame

- broken homes
- fatherless children
- lack of education
- poor parenting
- poverty
When people dont face these initial problems, music is a nonissue, like in the case of some blacks that grow up in stable family life with a father around.

This is a common falsehood of a lot of conservatives.

@vivify saidIn pretty sure Dook111 meant the following - Rap music of the violent type contributes. It is not the cause. There are root causes also called the underlying causes of problems. There are are additional contributory factors. Rap is not an underlying cause, but just a small factor contributing to the failure of the black community to get their act together.

@rajk999 saidThat's obvious. My point is this argument is used to shift blame away from where it belongs: systemic racism.

That, and blaming rap music in this day and age is flawed and outdated, since rap is quite far from those "gangsta" days.

@vivify saidWrong. The blame is the list i gave you above.

Systemic racism is a lame excuse, that solves nothing.

@vivify saidOf course you are correct. People get up in the moring a say.. " you know what, there is systemic racism out there so Im going to -
Systemic racism is a leading cause to all the problems you just mentioned.
- leave home and go look for another woman
- abandon my children
- forgt about education
- join a gang .
Yeah right.
@rajk999 saidFirst of all, step your sarcasm game up.

Secondly, poverty and oppression caused by systemic racism can lead people into despair, and can lead people to a life of crime, drug use, etc. Such a life would naturally break down families and lead to the other issues you mentioned.
Nothing exists in a vacuum. Social problems don't appear out of thin air.

@vivify saidActually, men trying to impregnate as many women as they can, has nothing to do with racism.

Women being sluts not caring about parenting has nothing to do with racism.
Dropping out of school and joining gangs has nothing to do with racism.
What you have is a bunch of lame excuses which is the reason why blacks will never solve their problems.
They blaming to wrong people. The problem is THEMSELVES.
@rajk999 saidThis is an idiotic and baseless claim. Where in black culture is deliberately trying to impregnate "as many women" as possible even a thing?
Actually, men trying to impregnate as many women as they can, has nothing to do with racism.
Women being sluts
You're just being a disgusting racist.
It seems you invent garbage out of thin air and then attack blacks for something that only exists in your f'd up mind. You continually prove your opinions are worthless and not worth responding to.

@vivify saidCheck the rap videos, they glorify and debase their own women.

Check how many black homes are broken because of unfaithful men
Check how many black women have 4 kids for 4 fathers.
Go do your own homework
People who tell the truth are racist.
Liars like you are the nice people.
@rajk999 saidSo do pop videos; rock music videos did the same thing for decades. In fact, country music now does the same thing; country music went from folk songs to "bro country" with videos of women dressed in skimpy outfits.
Check the rap videos, they glorify and debase their own women.
Singling out rap is an idiotic and biased move from someone who already admitted being a racist.

@vivify saidBlacks have much bigger fish to fry than music and racism.

The problem is THEM.
Focus on that and they will fix it.
Focus on blaming other people and calling people racist is failure.
You too. You are failure for talking such garbage.

You already admitted you're racist. Your opinions are driven by hate. You are beyond reason. Facts don't matter to someone who sees nothing wrong being racist trash.
