@moonbus saidA different skirmish, FDR had the war (millions of participants, each w diff mindsets) , whereas Trump had a virus. I like the fact that he said that, though, exuding confidence and resolve of a leader.
“It’ll be over by Easter.” Would FDR have said that to the nation in the wake of “Dec. 7th, 1941, a date that will live in infamy.” ?
Are you angry, trying to pick a fight? What about leadership qualities, though.? Oh, maybe you prefer everyone acting as a group, big equality, no leader, just one lock step, in a street!!!!!!!! Or on a campus! Peeing on the ground. Stinking. Screaming. Closest thing to a leader is any loser with a bull horn. Chanting being your anthem.
Hell if I were lib I’d be angry too.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidAll I've seen so far indicates that the court disagrees with you.
The court disagrees with you.
Susan Necheles moves in for yet another line of attack: Stormy Daniels' long history of acting in and directing adult films.
"You have a long history of making up stories about sex?" Necheles asks.
“The sex in the films is very much real," Daniels replies. "Just like what happened to me in that room.”
She appears to be referring to her alleged sexual encounter with Trump - which he denies ever happened.
"If that story wasn't true, I would have written it to be a lot better," Daniels says.
Susan Necheles is now showing Instagram posts from Stormy Daniels tour of clubs around the country, the so-called "Make American Horny Again" tour.
Daniels appears in colourful lingerie in each post along with the tagline that plays off of Trump's famous campaign slogan.
A monitor has been set up in front of Donald Trump in the courtroom, slightly to his left, so that he can view evidence.
Prosecutor Susan Hoffinger is trying to address Stormy Daniels’ motivation for signing the non-disclosure agreement, after Susan Necheles implied the adult film star was motivated by money.
Hoffinger asks Daniels if her intention with signing the document was to create a paper trail and thus ensure her safety.
Yes, Daniels says.
But you weren’t denying that you were also happy about the money, right? Hoffinger asks.
“We’re all happy to take money. It was just a bonus,” Daniels says.
Do Trump's attorneys really think they are going to convince a jury that he didn't have sex with a porn star he had invited to his hotel room?
That had to be one of the most ludicrous cross-examination strategies I've ever seen made worse by the fact it doesn't matter either way as far as the charges are concerned. But at trial, you're trying to tell a story and you should at least nor have parts of it be totally unbelievable.
@no1marauder saidTotally irrelevant whether he did or didn't, that's not what he's on trial for.

@Cliff-Mashburn saidWhich is why extended cross-examination regarding the encounter was a foolish decision.

@no1marauder saidThey may have had "instruction" from the client...

@spruce112358 saidVery possible, but lawyers should make their own tactical decisions at trial.
