And I think it would be wrong for the British or UN or *anybody* to partition the United States
to give some needy people a place to call home. The British really f'd up by shipping 700,000 Euro Jews in there.
It will prove some day to be the world's most costly social engineering blunder.

The UN Partition, as it has been pointed out to you, was not a demand on the Palestinians, it was a request.

Not correct. The Levant or Palestine were never part of "The British Empire". The British held the Mandate.
And see if you can find what "Mandated Palestine" actually means and where it is.
YES... a Mandated Palestine still exists. It is however, occupied by the Nazis of the ME.

Well that is obvious, that there is never anything called 100% support from any electorate, but I would think it means significant, or majority support. It wa the contention of many here before the hostilities that Hamas did not have majority support especially in Gaza

Totally wrong. At the time that the Brits simply *abandoned* the mandate, there was no Israel, just immigrant terrorist Jews.
Immediately, the Egyptians took up the mandate in Gaza and the Jordanians picked up the mandate in West Bank.
The Brits had washed their hands of it all and had no power to hand control of Palestine over to immigrants or anyone else.
That was all stolen by Israel in 1967 and the illegal occupation was draconian, to say the least. Still is.
