@rajk999 said<grin> To me, this is like asking, "Did the French people support America's D-Day invasion?"
Just like the morons [you included] who said that the population of Gaza does not support Hamas, and therefore Israel should not return fire on Gaza. That is also a crock of $$hitt.
Of course. what is shocking in that
@earl-of-trumps saidSo the British left.

The British passed over control to the Jews.
Totally wrong. At the time that the Brits simply *abandoned* the mandate, there was no Israel, just immigrant terrorist Jews.
Immediately, the Egyptians took up the mandate in Gaza and the Jordanians picked up the mandate in West Bank.
The Brits had washed their hands of it all and had no power ...[text shortened]... s all stolen by Israel in 1967 and the illegal occupation was draconian, to say the least. Still is.
Leaving nobody in charge.
Then war broke out. The Muslims lost.
You people are just sore losers.
Get over it.
@kevcvs57 saidHamas started it.
Your the moron, Israel should not disproportionately kill Palestinian civilians including women and children.
Your ok with it because you have lost your humanity to same imaginary creature as the Israelis and Hamas. Your all fascist scum hiding your pathology behind a wilful delusion.
Fired far more rockets at Israel
Fired indiscriminately.
You have lost your sense of fairness.
You have the mind of a boldfaced terrorist.
@earl-of-trumps saidFine, and if they support Hamas bombing Israel, they cannot complain when Israel returns fire and they die.

I dislike retyping that which *I just typed*, for gawds sake.
I SAID... the British abandoned the mandate and Egypt picked up the mandate in Gaza,
and Jordan picked up the mandate in West Bank. What.... the..... Jeeezus. It stayed that way until 1967
when typhoon Israel struck. You know those jolly, wonderful people from Europe?
@earl-of-trumps saidWell typing out the same misinformation over and over is nobody's' fault but yours. The British Empire, via the Balfour Declaration of 1917, declared that Israel will be granted a homeland - part of the partitioned land of Palestine. They exited in 1948 and Israel was declared an independent state by the UN in 1949. The losers who wanted all for themselves started to fight. They lost .. boo hoo.

@rajk999 saidThe Balfour Declaration of 1947??

@rajk999 saidWhat the hell does Israeli statehood have to do with holding the mandate over Mandated Palestine?? Nothing.

In 1948, if you respect the Partition (I don't), Mandated Palestine was about 49% of the original Palestine.
The rest was designated a "Jewish Homeland", which became Israel. At NO TIME was Israel put in charge
of Mandated Palestine. I really hope this is clear. It ended up being part of Israel because Israel STOLE it in 1967.
But according to the UN, Mandated Palestine STILL exists and is currently illegally occupied.
10-4?
@rajk999 saidThe Balfour Declaration was a public statement issued by the British government in 1917 during the First World War announcing support for the establishment of a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine, then an Ottoman region with a small minority Jewish population
Sorry, thats 1917

And with that Declaration and $2 you can get a coffee at Dunkin' Donuts.
"declaration"... yeah, some blowhard has something to declare about intentions.
I just shake my head. 🙁
@earl-of-trumps saidWell, you cannot have it both ways. You insisted in the last few weeks that the British / UN partition plan of 1947, carried no weight, it was not law, it was not accepted and it was not put in place before the British exited Palestine. Right? Neither the UN nor the British have the authority to share or partition the land.

Therefore, the Balfour Declaration is worth nothing.
The UN nas no power
There is nothing called Mandated Palestine.
There is no division / partition of Palestine
So it was a battle for the entire Land of Palestine.
The Muslims lost. The Jews won.
The Muslims are therefore prisoners of war.
The war continues.
@rajk999 saidthis makes more sense than anything the UN or the British ever did.

And please, if the muslims "turn the trick" and beat the tar out of the Israelis and force them into the dessert,
"Please don't cry for me, Argentina". (Evita) And please don't mind if I cheer.
@earl-of-trumps saidRight. So for those who dont accept the British / UN partition plan, they also have to accept
this makes more sense than anything the UN or the British ever did.

- there is nothing like Mandated Territory
- there are no UN resolutions which Israel needs to abide by
- there is no international law which says Israel cannot annex terrorory.
It is an ongoing all out war for the Land of Palestine.
Winner takes all
Losers go home.
If Israel looses they cannot be happy winners only.
If they time comes and they lose so be it.
According to the Hamas Charter they will have to convert to Islam or die.
@rajk999 said“ Hamas started it.”

Lol
That number of rocket thing is meaningless given the low percentage that get through the iron dome. Israel overwhelmingly out bombed and rocketed Hamas as they do every time.
It a bit like shooting someone because they squirted you with a water pistol.
@kevcvs57 saidWho fired the first bomb started it. Its common sense. Its called first blood.

After that, if you have to take a beating, thats tough .. suck it up and stop crying.
Learn your lesson. Next time think twice. Tell your government Hamas to stop it.
