Dolt, this is not about Dermocrats versus republicans.
I think his point is that once a president is elected, to even think about uttering even the slightest critique of what he does as president anytime for four years is improper.

The fact that GWB's approval rating dropped after 2004 is a case study. The fact that people disapproved after electing him shows their thinking was flawed. Note: it is not even whether or not you voted for him. It is just whether or not he was elected. Paul Krugman at the NY Times had a lot of criticism for GWB and I am quite sure he didn't vote for him. I kept writing him over and over telling him, "Paul, GWB was elected by the American people. Obviously we all approve of what he's doing".

So the question is, is this a fading fad or a movement gaining momentum which will soon clash with the powers that be?
Apparently quite a few of the people who attended these protests were first-time protesters, showing up in the middle of a work day, some having taken their kids out of school for the day to attend. For Joe-Blow-conservatives, who normally wouldn't even consider wasting time on some stupid protest, that is a true shift in behavior. If they are willing to do that then perhaps they are also willing to start picking up the phone and pressuring Congress to pay attention to them, which is the only way to make any of this matter.

Perhaps the Ents are waking up and finding that they are strong. Or perhaps they will go back to sleep. I don't know. But I really hope they continue to be insulted by liberals. It will only strengthen their resolve.

Any mainstream media coverage on the tea parties will have a negative bias because the media is controlled by government.

The media is not controlled by the government, they are biased because of their liberal agenda.

I would agree to that if you consider the one world order liberal.

The media isn't controlled by the government, yet! When the News
papers start getting bail out money then the News papers will be.

Now it is that they share the same mind set on how they view the world,
so they act in lock step for the most part only because they agree with
each other on how things are viewed. The results are close to the same
but how it occurs isn't because of direct control, or at least as far as I
believe.

If the media isn't towing the line the IRS will get them back in line. The hand out money is a good point. Once they get the money they have signed on to facism.

Dear Joe,

Please back away from the conspiracy theory Koolaid. Go to the protests, call and write your representatives, vote libertarian or whatever ...all good, fine and dandy. Enthusiastically agreeing with statements like telerion's (which was bait BTW), and tossing about wonderful terms such as 'facism', makes you a right-wing nutjob, and just discredits the vast majority of normal people who went to these things.

Please don't do that. Seriously.
