@AverageJoe1 saidWhat is the topic of this thread, and how does your post fit in?
Tell me what I have written that is inappropriate? Or wrong, for that matter.
@shavixmir saidI think it is you who is being silly with the inferences in your OP.
You can’t blame women and children.
And especially not women and children in the West Bank for what Hamas done.
Or, are you suggesting it’s fine to pop by a synagogue in Europe and start extracting revenge for Gaza there?
Don’t be silly now.
Were the children who were burned alive, murdered in front of their parents on October 7 last year, in some way culpable for some offence committed hundreds of miles away?
Not sure why “women” are being called out with “children”; are women not equal to men anymore and somehow as vulnerable as children?
@divegeester saidCivilians.

You don’t seem to comprehend that Hamas and the Israeli government are at fault with their respective behaviours.
@shavixmir saidMen are civilians also. This whole women & children thing doesn’t wash with me.
Civilians.

I fully acknowledge that both are at fault, it you who doesn’t seem to!
@divegeester saidI care less about men dying that women and children. So sue me.

You are the one who says it's fine what the settlers are doing in the West Bank, referring to attrocities committed by a minority of people from Gaza.
@shavixmir saidSeems a bit sexist; but then your principles on stuff like this often seem like a feather in the wind.

Where have I said “it’s fine”? You’re making stuff up again.
@divegeester saidDamn man. You said that the Palestinians deserve what they get, because of what Hamas did in October.

It’s the same thing.
Ps.
Yes. On some issues I am a complete sexist. I don’t kiss people with beards.
@shavixmir saidThat’s not the same as saying “It’s fine” and I didn’t say “deserved” either. You’re putting words into my mouth in a weak attempt to make your own narrative sound improved.

No! Pointing out the consequences of starting a war is NOT the same as saying “it’s fine”, “deserved” or whatever exaggerations you’re going to reach for next.
Having read you in this forum for over a decade, my assertion is that your principles and values are flexible depending on which side of the partisan fence you sit.
@happy-chappy saidWhy are the IDF generalised as “monsters” in your mind?
Why have no Israelis entered into this forum ?
Are there any idf monsters about?
I'd like to hear from someone with blood on there hands justifying there actions.
How about a settler sitting in his nice new home overlooking his nice olive Grove?
Are the Palestinian attackers also “monsters”?
@divegeester saidSure.

🙄
@divegeester saidFair point. I concede.
Why are the IDF generalised as “monsters” in your mind?
Are the Palestinian attackers also “monsters”?
None the less,,why no comments from people actually involved?
Although I don't hear of Palestinians snipping Jewish children.
@divegeester saidNo, the attack was well thought out and rational. Saudi Arabia was about to normalize relations with Israel. Preventing that was a completely logical thing to do. Only the methods are questionable. Same with Israel's methods in Gaza. Very questionable.

@shavixmir saidBoth at fault, but one is stupid and the other is smart.
Civilians.
You don’t seem to comprehend that Hamas and the Israeli government are at fault with their respective behaviours.
Palestinians are stupid. The chief reason is that they had many opportunities to set up their own country, with lots of funding from international agencies and donations from well-wishers, to the tune of $1Billion US, annually. Instead of doing that they wasted their money on building tunnels and buying weapons to fight an enemy a thousand times stronger.
They are consumed with hatred and rather die than live in peace alongside the Jews. Serves them right.
@Metal-Brain saidIsrael is doing the right thing. There is no other way to fight Hamas. The population of Gaza is in full support of Hamas and has allowed them to set up their military hardware in schools, hospitals and mosques, which are protected under the Geneva Convention from attack. Placing military installations in these locations removes this protection and the IDF is free to attack these civilian spaces.

Bombing these places is the right thing to do. Gazans want to die... so be it.
