The post that was quoted here has been removedI think there is a fair point in this comment by the Holy Guardian, however I also feel that Harry (as the accusation emanated from him) has smeared the entire family and institute employees by not naming the person. If he wants to make this claim then he MUST name the person involved or keep quiet.
I therefore agree with the Queen that she should not have to publicly stoop to demands that the family acknowledge and condem racism per-se. I just feel that Harry has been very very foolish, childish even.
This comment by me is in no way meant to deflect from the utter disgust we should all feel at the racist comment, as claimed, and if true of course.

@moonbus saidYes, this is one of the difficulties of dealing with something that IS so commonplace. The micro-aggressions can sneak in anywhere, and even the people saying them can be caught unaware. It's up to all of us to do better. But then you run into that guy who doesn't give a damn about "doing better", and thinks it is all hyper-sensitivity run amok. That guy will never get it.
Hear, hear.
Racism also often expresses itself in micro-aggressions and thoughtless comments.
Here's an example my daughter told me about. Her school teacher was explaining about Australia in geography class. He said that the first people who lived there were the Aborigines, but that mostly "normal people" populate Australia now.
Now, I don't suppose that her school ...[text shortened]... ss is ubiquitous, and you can't spend your whole day micro-listening for these types of occurrences.

On some levels, the tolerance here is commendable.
But do this site's members ever find an occasionally grateful Duchess64?
No, we consistently find ourselves under hateful assault from a non-paying free-loader, who fears no consequences.
